  • Breathable mesh upper.
  • Lightweight synthetic overlays.
  • Wide Elastic Nav Band wraps across the foot, providing arch support without the underfoot bulk.

  • Molded insole supplies light underfoot cushioning.
  • Full-length BioMoGo DNA is a blend of earth-friendly BioMoGo and responsive Brooks DNA, and has a gender-friendly cushioning design, making for a dynamic ride.
  • Center strike pod helps guide the foot to a natural landing zone.

  • Toe Flex - The split-toe feature augments forefoot flexibility and promotes the big toe to engage the runner's natural stability and power during push-off.
  • Ideal Heel - The heel is slimmed down to encourage contact points to shift forward, aligning the joints and creating optimal energy return.
  • Built on an anatomical last, the shoe's shape contours to your foot, promoting support and a glove-like fit.

If you're lamenting the of of the Green Silence, this is the shoe for you. Green Silence and Pure Connect made sweet, sweet love and this jewel was born. Pure Flow 2 has the wraparound tongue and identical cushion of Green Silence, and the foot-hugging fit of the Pure Connect. With all of this you get a little support without the strict discipline of the Adrenaline or Trance.

Awesome shoe! Let me start by saying that like many of the reviewers I loved the three pairs of original Pureflows I owned. After reading how disappointed some of people were in the new styling I was a bit hesitant to buy. After thinking about it for a few days I decided to buy a pair, but changed the way I approached the purchase. Instead of approaching the purchase like I was buying the Pureflows that Brooks decided to change on me....I just acted like I was buying a completely different pair of running shoes. When I first slipped them on I thought to myself "wow, this new shoe feels amazing! Kinda like my Pureflows, but just a little different." On my first run I thought to myself, "wow, these shoes feel just like my Pureflows." Sure the lacing does give a slightly different feel, but when it comes down to it they are still an awesome pair of running shoes. One more thing. Order them a half size smaller than your original Pureflows. The 10.5s I bought were like clown shoes. The 10s are perfect.

I ran 2 marathons in the glycerin 9's. I then began transitioning into 5 finger shoes and found that they're not great for distance. These shoes have been awesome! I just hit 100 miles in them and I have 0 complaints. I did order 1/2 size smaller and it was good fit.

The Pure Flow 2 is the best running shoe I've worn. I had been wearing Asics 2000, 2100 series and Brooks GTX, but the Pure Flow just works better. It is also the best for walking. The lower heel allows the foot to land more mid foot thereby getting better force response from the upper leg and hips without stressing the calf or the shins during impact. The design is a whole step forward in shoe engineering. Its not perfect, but the fundamental shape of the insole, heel cup and sole really work well for movement from heel to toe in the running motion. This shoe will prevent many injuries to achilles, shins, knees due to the more natural way the force of each stride is absorbed up through the body rather than in the foot or lower leg.

I'd also recommend: Asics 2000

Excellent running shoe for 5 to 10 Mile run. I moved to these after being a long time Nike runner. The only suggestion I have is to be sure to have socks on correctly, the Achilles support on these is strong than I was used to. I got a blister because I did not have my socks on correctly!
