- Brooks developed five unique features called the Ideal Technologies (Nav Band, Toe Flex, BioMOGO DNA, Ideal Heel and Anatomical Last) that are featured in every PureProject shoe. Combined, these technologies are designed to promote an efficient, natural stride by encouraging a more forward foot strike, which places the runner over their center of gravity, helps align the body and reduces harmful stress.
- Built for the neutral runner seeking a minimalist running shoe that places little between the runner and the ground.
- Breathable mesh upper.
- Lightweight synthetic overlays.
- Wide Elastic Nav Band across the instep to ensure a secure, glove-like fit.
- Plush tongue and collar for exceptional comfort.
- Soft lining offers a great in-shoe feel.
- Molded foam insole supplies light underfoot cushioning.
- Full-length BioMoGo DNA is a blend of earth-friendly BioMoGo and responsive Brooks DNA, and has a gender-friendly cushioning design, making for a dynamic ride.

- Toe Flex - The split-toe feature augments forefoot flexibility and promotes the big toe to engage the runner's natural stability and power during push-off.
- Ideal Heel - The heel is slimmed down to encourage contact points to shift forward, aligning the joints and creating optimal energy return.
- Built on an anatomical last, the shoe's shape contours to your foot, promoting support and a glove-like fit.

I love these shoes. I noticed they felt a bit tight with my running socks on, so I removed them and they are perfect. Light and comfortable can't wait to race in them. Be sure of your size; they seem to run a bit small.

These shoes are awesome I switched from the brooks pure flow 2 to these and I'm glad I did they feel very natural and still provide a little cushioning. They almost force you to land on the ball of your foot because of the recessed heel. I run 25/35 per week in these with no issues. I recommend that you go up a size in these from your everyday shoe.
I'd also recommend: Mizuno

Best pair of running shoes ever! I'm a brooks customer for life now! So comfy I wear around the house rather than take them off!

Loved the original PureConnect. I enjoy the look of the PureConnect 2 much more. They seem to be made slightly better. They run a half size small.

These shoes are amazing they encourage you to run more on your mid to forefoot and mold well to your feet. I've found with heavy padded shoes that I get back problems. with these shoes my back is no longer tight. I would strongly recommend these shoes as an excellent alternative to normal running shoes, there is enough support in these shoes to still take the impact of long runs. If your a mid to forefoot runner and considering even going barefoot, get these shoes they still provided the support you need firstly when you make the switch. Brooks shoes are fantastic.
