These shoes look sharp and professional with black slacks. My feet are wide in front and medium in back, so most size wide shoes slip. These shoes hold your foot in with the taller tongue, so they fit well. The heel height is very comfortable and looks better with slacks than a flat shoe.

I will concede I haven't run in the rain yet. The jacket is incredibly light - I think the package it arrived in weighed more than the jacket. It kept me warm on a windy run and warm as a warmup layer before a cold race. It looks good too! (Let's be honest, Brooks gear isn't always the best looking.)
