I ordered these because they are shoes made with support for children with over pronation in their feet. I researched and found that these shoes have arch support and a bar in the middle to help stabilize the foot, from over pronating (ankle turning in and down). Children with flat feet, and toe walkers often have this pronation issue. Disabled children, hypotonic\/low muscle tone issues as well. I will report back when they arrive in the mail! Thank you Zappos! I could have bought them direct from Brooks Kids, but the guaranteed free shipping on return led me here as a new customer.

Follow up review. We received the shoes today. We are very happy with them. We showed our child's doctor, and he said they looked good. I like the shoelaces. They are not too long. The shoe seems a bit narrow, but maybe we are just used to velcro shoes versus lace ups. I felt like I was tugging on shoelaces to close over the tongue, but maybe that is the way they should be. Child is happy, and no complaints walking. The color is great. A nice light silver grey, look at the video, as the picture is not quite right. They look great. The sole is awesome, with that middle section for support. I really notice how it helped him stand, and walk. The inside has a nice soft cushion. Nice rounded toe. Well made. Thank you Zappos, for fast delivery! I ordered Monday late pm, and they arrived today before 12 noon! Way to go!

My 8 year old son has flat feet and he loves these shoes! Has not complained once about his feet hurting. Says they are bouncy and loves them! I am ordering a 2nd pair for him.

My husband and I were told to purchase Brooks since our son didn't have an arch on one foot. Prior to wearing Brooks he would come home from school very tired and limping due to fatigue. Ever since he has been wearing the Brooks Adrenaline he is a different kid. No limping and happier. Thanks Zappos and Brooks. I'm a much happier mom too.

Both of my boys run cross country. These shoes are perfect for that. I am a runner too and wear the adult version. I knew that the kid version would be great too. I put Yank on the shoe's laces, they are bungy kind of laces. This way while they are running their laces will not come untied.

My sons feel over pronate really bad. This is the only shoe I have found for kids that supports his ankles and his inserts work well inside.

This is actually our 2nd pair; outgrew the first. A great shoe for my 12 year old son who suffers from flat feet and severe pronation...these shoes put a bounce in his step. He is required to run two miles for gym class each day and he report that his feet don't tire as easily as they previously did.

Great shoe. My son likes them very much - his feet are pronate; he wears corrective arches. We got these for his gym class where he could be free of the rigid insole. He says they are comfortable, light, flexible and help keep his foot in alignment.
