I have been combating plantar fasciitis, shin splints and knee problems for over a year now, all my years of jogging catching up to me. I see a sports physical therapist, got some gait training, compressions sleeves the works. I finally sought out "foot solutions" to get a custom orthotic for my extremely high arches, but instead tried these shoes on and immediately decided to buy them instead. Two weeks I've had these shoes and I have almost no shin and knee pain. I've always gone with "less is more" on running shoes and this pair was a little more clunky than I was used to but the support it provides is bar-none. They took no time to break-in, they are immediately comfortable and supportive and I can wear them from sun up to down with no discomfort and for me, who really loves my flip flops, that's saying a lot!

This is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. Works well with orthotics as well. This shoe has a gel pad bottom that makes it good if you are on your feet at work.

I am looking for good neutral flexible shoes with cushioning. I am a suppinator or underpronator. These Brooks Glycerin 10 shoes have good flexibility for suppinators like me. However this particular Brooks shoes have a bit too much overlays on the top and sides of the foot, causing too much squeezing of the mid-foot. I wear a B width but I do have high insteps so this squeezing is a problem for me. The Brooks Ghost seems to fit me better with less squeezing. The toe box in the Brooks Glycerin is not quite as roomy as the toe box of the Ghost. I need a roomy toe box. I wear custom orthotics now. I have extremely high arches which is one of the reasons that I needed custom orthotics. Without my custom orthotics, no shoes have high enough arches for me. I would say these Brooks shoes have moderate arch support for people with regular arches. These Brooks Glycerin shoes are nice and cushiony which is one thing that I like about them. But I have to return them due to the squeezing of the mid-foot and for me the toe box is not quite roomy enough although it may be plenty roomy enough for some people.
I'd also recommend: Brooks Ghost; and Womens Nike Zoom Vomero +7

These shoes are great. I have a bunion and needed a wider toe box. It doesn't hurt at all when I wear these shoes. The cushion and lightweight feel are also amazing.

Yea! Yea! Yea! This is one sweet shoe; I just ordered a second pair. I got them for running in the woods, these are light and feel like they were custom made for my feet... I wish they came in all white so that I could wear them to work in the hospital and surround my feet in pure pleasure 24/7.

I wrote the one review above. I gave this shoe 5 stars, and I notice it only has 1 star on the review listed. I want to make sure everyone knows how much I like this shoe.
