Best running shoes ever and I've tried a lot. I'm a big guy getting back into shape with knee problems, the Ghost 7's have superb cushioning and support which elevate a lot of joint and foot pain. For reference I'm 6'5", 260lbs. I'm minus 85lbs and ran my best time in a 5k today. There are probably better models for pro runners but if your a linebacker pounding the concrete try these out you won't be disappointed...only gripe I really have is the color selection, kind of whacked out color schemes but whatever, they are running shoes and seems to be the norm now a days with all brands.

The outersole of this shoe wears very poorly. Expect to get less than 250 miles out of them, or even less. 8 months ago I started running again seriously after a hiatus and decided to get myself a good pair of shoes. I have been running in Nike's for several years but when I was younger I absolutely wouldn't wear anything but Brooks Chariots because I used to pronate so severely so I decided to go back to Brooks with this pair. The Ghost 7 felt very comfortable in the store. Unfortunately the outersole wears very poorly. Within 100 miles the heel was worn down to the midsole. This pair has just shy of 200 miles on them and they are pretty much trashed. Brooks sent me another pair for free and I have 50 miles on that pair and they are already wearing down. I am trying to transition to a forefoot strike and have now noticed the nubs on the front of the shoe are actually tearing away. I don't think either pair will reach 250 miles before I have to retire them. Because of the excessive wear on these shoes I had to buy a pair of Nike Vomero 9's as an alternate shoe. They have 100 miles on them with what I would consider a normal amount of wear.

These are the best running shoes that I have tried to date. I under-pronate/supinate quite a bit, and I am over 250 pounds. Running in these shoes is the most comfortable that I have been in years. I had thought Mizuno's Wave Rider was the best that I had tried. But these have taken over.

I'd also recommend: Mizuno

Nice shoe but the arch support seems excessive to me. I have narrow feet (B) but I've never had a shoe that pressed on my arches like this one does.

I used to dread running due to pain found out I was just wearing the wrong shoes. Got test for pronation and purchased the Ghost 7. Love them. No more continuous pain. I am a bigger runner and these are wonderful.
