These are light, semi-windproof run pants. I like the Brooks line: very well-made and true running pants. These are great for the spring & fall, and they work well in the winter with a pair of running tights underneath. I am happy with them. There is a slight "swish" sound when you walk, but that doesn't matter when you're running.
