Love the Cascadia - this is my second pair after putting over 500 miles on my 7s - after 100 miles these seem to match the previous - good support and cushion for the trail.

A fantastic right out of the box running shoe. My feet thanked me for buying the Brooks Cascadia 8. Whether running on trail or on the road, these shoes provide the comfort and support you are looking for. The shoes has an interesting fit. Length and width were right on. However, it does seem to fit differently on top of the foot. Almost like the height of the cut is too shallow.
I'd also recommend: Asics

Big improvement over the Cascadia 7's. The stability is outstanding and the durability excellent. As a side note, I use these shoes for hiking and backpacking. Even under heavy pack loads these shoes offer unmatched comfort and durability in an amazingly light package. Definitely recommended for thru hikers.

I've had the Cascadia 7 and loved them. They were comfortable, well ventilated, and surprisingly durable. I ordered the Cascadia 8 as replacement buy I had to return them because the toe tapers more like a traditional running shoe than the 7s did. Great shoes though.

Shoe has great potential but unfortunately does not come in widths so it was a little to narrow and tight under the laces for me. Would be great if there was a 2E version.
