If you liked the 6 you will love the 7! Comments galore (I got the flashy green ones). Comfort all day long. I'm not a runner but am on my feet 12 hours a day and my feet feel like they are walking on clouds.
I'd also recommend: Brooks, Saucony

I purchased these mainly because they are one of the few trail runners that come in a size 15, and I needed a shoe to complement my Merrell Trail Gloves on snowy days. Sizing was perfect. Toe box has ample room. Gripped great on snow, wet grass, dirt, etc. Could be very comfy as an all day shoe as well. It has a high heel/toe differential of about 11, but because of mid foot padding, I found these nice to fore foot strike in.
I'd also recommend: Patagonia, Merrell (only because they also make size 15 trail runners)

I have been through 24 pairs of Cascadias since they first came out, and would not consider anything else. I know trail runners who have used them out of the box in a 50 mile trail race and loved them (I ran three miles in my new pair before the 50miler) - they are that comfortable and fit that well. The rock shield minimizes bruises from rocks on technical trails, and the wide forefoot minimizes blisters on long tough downhills. The tread works well in just about any conditions, although I prefer the tread of the 7s to those of the 6s as the larger lugs last longer. The design supports my orthotics well. The Cascadias are a well designed shoe with...interesting...colors - hope Brooks does not mess with a good thing.
I'd also recommend: None - stick with the Cascadias!

The Cascadia is a great shoe to either trail run with or hike. This new green colorway is my third Cascadia, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. I've put the first 2 through a lot of work and they're holding up well. It's a quality product and isn't a boring black or brown like many other trail/hike shoes on the market. I say get it, try it and you'll be pleased. Also, Scott Jurek helped design it. Can't go wrong there.

Very comfortable out of the box. The toe protection, traction, and upper construction all seem durable. Orange and gray color scheme inspires more shredding of the gnar.
