Relief for sore foot -
I am an avid walker. I walk at least three miles a day, seven miles most days. Morton's Neuroma in my right foot caused me to overcompensate by trying to walk on the inside of my right foot. This caused shin splints and horrible calf pain. My walking habit was no longer enjoyable, in fact, it was downright painful. I decided to try these shoes, because I have a pair of Brooks Addiction that I wear strictly for work, and have had good luck with them, being on my feet for 8-10 hours a day on cement. I ordered these on Saturday late afternoon, and they arrived at my door on Monday early afternoon. Zappos ROCKS!! So thanks to these great shoes, no more foot pain, no more calf pain. Yay! They felt heavy when I held them in my hand, but on my feet, they fell just right. I’m back to seven miles a day. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in most athletic shoes, and decided to order an 8 1/2, since they came in 2EE width. I have very wide feet. They fit perfectly. I love their appearance, and only gave them a 4 star rating on looks because I really wanted the silver and green ones, but they weren't available, Zappos and Brooks have my vote!

Bye bye orthotics!
I have finally found the sneakers for me! I have wide, flat feet, plantar fasciitis and have had ACL surgery on my knee. These have great arch support, so much that I don't need my orthotics. The wide is plenty wide - the double wide was actually too wide for me, and I usually need a double wide in sneakers. They're not the most attractive shoes out there, but no sneaker really looks feminine in a 10.5 wide. They feel great, which is what's really important. I would love to see more girly colors - how about some pink or purple, Brooks??

Doctor recommended this shoe -
I have a problem with arthritis in my foot and my doctor recommended this shoe as it is very stiff and supportive. It has made an incredible difference to me. No pain and great comfort all day. The shoe is big and clunky but I don't care!!

Heels ouch!
Behind my heel (achillies area) they kept digging no matter what until they would bleed...talk about painful. I have normal width and normal size 10 feet. The arches were too high and would fatigue and make my feet ache.

Great Shoe -
I love this shoe; it is the only one wear. I have bad knees and this shoe has the stability that I need. Only change I would like would be to have more color options. I wear this shoe to work and it would be nice if it came in black.

A Supportive Shoe -
I bought the Ariel for my first charity 5K walk. I need the EE because of fused joints and broken bones. I wish more manufacturers would include EE in women's shoes. Because of comments given, I went up a half a size and am glad I did. The shoe is comfortable and the extra padded inner sole is a real plus. I don't think I need quite as much pronation correction as the Ariel provides and I wish more colors were offered since I'm not fond of the citrus. I do like the gray body instead of white. But the shoe works just fine as long as I don't wear it on consecutive days.

Comfortable out of the box, room for the bunions, and doesn't look any worst than other running shoes. Could have a little more cushion in the front but overall I like this shoe and will most likely get another pair. I pronate and really need a shoe that holds my foot, but is comfortable, and so far this is.

Brook's Ariel sneakers -
The sneakers are very comfortable, and help keep me from over pronating my foot when I walk. I have bought this brand in the past, and they last a long time. I work in a hospital, and am on my feet all day. These sneakers keep my feet from hurting. I just wish they would come in basic white to look more like a nurse's shoe. Zappos was amazing in the delivery. Next day!

Best Shoe I've even worn-Most comfortable -
This is honestly the best running shoe I have ever put on my feet. I used to get severe pain after running or working out in my legs and feet. After wearing these to workout in, no pain. I love them. They aren't the cutest shoes but they sure get the job done. Make sure you order one whole size larger then you normally wear. Know that my feet don't hurt I enjoy working out everyday. I've only missed two day since I've had these shoes (17days). I've tried every shoe on the market for flat-footed people this is the one to stop all pain.

Having spent 1 1/2yrs battling plantar fasciitis, this is the only shoe that works for me & gives me the support I need. I get approx. 6mos usage from each pair. I also switch between 2 prs several times ea. week.

Brooks for great comfort! This is my second pair of Brooks and for anyone that has a high instep these shoes are great. I walk 2 to 3 miles a day and my feet always feel great. They provide wonderful support and are very easy to wear all day without any discomfort. The look is a little chunky but they still have a nice style and I love the color combinations. They are worth every penny!

I have been an athlete all my life. Had the injuries, read the books, keep studying to improve, always. This shoe is the best. You will run better, longer, and in better health. I will never do without it.

Heed the others who say that these run 1/2 size short! I own the Brooks Addiction GTS 8 and assumed since it fit me well in 8.5 that the Ariel would, but these were too short. The width seemed fine. The shoe is really much more "boxy" looking than the Addiction model, also. Going up 1/2 size would make my feet look like I was wearing a set of painted boxes. Back they go. Kudos to Zappos for quick delivery and easy returns!
