I've been a long time Brooks supporter. I'm most familiar with the Beast and the Addiction. The Adrenaline ASR has similar support with slightly less width in the sole of the shoe.

These are great shoes. One drawback is that they are too cushy. The shoe's support could be a bit firmer.

I cannot believe how hard the sole was. It felt like I was running with no cushioning whatsoever. I cannot express how disappointed and upset I am to have wasted this amount of money on a shoe that I cannot use. I am never buying another pair of Brooks shoes again.

I had to return the size 12 EE which I normally wear, and they sent me 12.5 EE and they fit fine.

I usually go with Beast b/c I have flat feet. I figured I would give these a try, and they are slightly different in support, but I think I prefer them vs. the Beast. Go 1/2 size larger then usual.

I'm loving these shoes. They're the most comfortable running shoes that I've ever had. I switched from New Balance because of style. All of the high quality New Balance trail running shoes are just plain ugly. My first impression after putting them on was how much energy return there was in the heel of the shoe. I like the looks, but I love how they work. I'm only on a 5k level of running, but for my level, they are great. No joint or muscle fatigue from wearing them. I just hope they last a long time.

Fits like the Adrenaline road shoe but with a more secure, stable feel. Good wet traction. I like the full-length tongue retainer.

Everything about this shoe description made me want to like it, especially the waterproofing. On my second try with this shoe I ordered a 9-1/2 EE for my son who normally wears a 9-1/2 regular. Unfortunately, even the EE was far too narrow. His toes hit the end of the shoe as well so unless he's had an unbelievable growth spurt in the last week, I'd say this runs both narrow and short.
