These shoes look so beautiful in the picture. I ordered them in black and was a little disappointed. The zipper ornamentation is the best part about the shoe. The lattice style front wasn't as impressive as I expected and based on the video I have the feeling this shoe may look best in pewter. In any event, I was excited at the prospect of having a really unique looking bootie and I loved the Brighton zipper. Unfortunately, the comfort was just not there. I could tell right out of the box that these would be uncomfortable and the toe was so tight, I was certain it would never loosen enough to where I could comfortably walk around in them for an evening. (They were so tight I knew I'd never wear them long enough to find out.) The heel is just high enough to shift the weight of the foot forward into the toe area so there's always pressure on the toes. Ultimately, I decided I didn't love them enough to suffer for them - especially for the hefty price. I returned them.
I'd also recommend: Born, Clarks

Love these boots in the pewter color. Very unique, eclectic and stylish. One of a kind boot. Runs small and narrow. Had to go up one full size and W (wide) than my normal size. Glad I did go larger and wider. Now they fit just right!

The picture made these look stunning, but upon unwrapping them, they looked merely okay. The laser-cut leather on the top is large grain, which makes them look more rustic and less urbane. They are not as shiny, and the zipper seemed kind of precarious, as though too much strain might snap it. They would be worth it for half the price, but not for this price. These go back.

The lattice is not nearly as pretty in person as it is on the screen and the shoes feel cheap. Unfortunately, they aren't comfortable either.

Narrow front so it is not a good fit for those with average feet. You can order a half size bigger than ususal since Brighton runs small anyway.
