Purchased this purse to go on vacation. The quality was very good and it has a lot of room for a smaller purse. It is meant to be carried as a cross body purse. I had the strap as long as it would go and it still seemed too short for me (I'm 5'8). The strap is very wide and was digging into my neck after a short while. The other problem with the purse was the compartment for ID and credit cards was on the back of the purse. With the short strap it was hard to access that compartment without pulling the purse totally off.

I just received this in the silver as a gift but feel compelled to review it because Zappos takes very good care of me! The color is slightly darker than the photo and not as shiny which makes it a perfect light and neutral option. I am a huge fan of the organizer bags and this is no exception. I happen to appreciate that the organizer pocket is against the body providing another measure of security. I keep bills and change inside the organizer zipper pocket to further minimize any issue. I also tend to take the bag off my shoulder to access money or credit cards so that isn't a problem for me either. All that speaks to personal style though. You can really lighten your load since you don't need a wallet. My Rx sunglasses in the case fit in the main compartment. There are so many other pockets that keeping track of your "stuff" will be easy. Oh, and it's just plain adorable too!
Brands I'd also recommend: One should never mess with perfection!

I just bought this mini messenger yesterday and I have to tell you that it's my perfect bag. I can't begin to tell you how much money I spent trying to find the best beg, This was it. The bag expands enough for me to fit all the necessary things I need always. Also, I'm very comfortable wearing the crossover strap. I give it five stars. You won't be sorry. Thank you, Brighton!

I bought this purse for a vacation after reading the great reviews. I agree! It is a great bag. I loved the easy access to the outside wallet portion. I used the outside pocket on the other side of the purse to keep my cell phone. It was great to always be able to find it so easily. I am going to look for an everyday purse with such and outside pocket. This purse is expensive for a vacation only bag, but I was extremely satisfied, and will use it for many vacations in the future.

I love this purse. It is exactly what I wanted. It has several zippered pouches that are easy to access and are big enough for things like your smartphone to easily fit in. The zippers work smoothly, the leather is beautiful, the hardware is just the right amount of "bling" and excellent quality. The only negative is that the purse is heavier than I expected.

Love this cross body bag. It's great for traveling, holds credit cards in a separate pocket w/zipper on the outside. Wish the strap was longer and more comfortable but hey you can't have everything! PS, If you own the Nook Tablet, it fits in the purse nicely... along with my cell phone and sunglasses.
