bought this bag as a carry-on for a recent trip. I needed to bring several electronic items (iPad, Kindles). The bag was a great size and enabled me to bring clothes without fear of having my bag snatched and gate-checked. The only drawback is that the laptop compartment is not reinforced with stiffening material, so I had to put a wooden clipboard there to keep my iPad and Kindles from being stressed/bent due to the shape of the other compartments. The expansion capability is particularly nice as it allows you to put delicate clothes in their own compartment. The wheels worked very well over rough surfaces and the plastic compartments in the front were handy for wet clothing items too. On a business trip, I would put my toiletries in that section and be all set with one bag. I am looking forward to many trips with this bag!
