Bridgedale™ starts by taking soft wool yarns and wrapping them with a durable microfiber yarn in a process called WoolFusion. This new yarn is then placed in areas of the foot where the most perspiration occurs or where maximum cushioning in needed. The wool yarns quickly absorb the moisture from the skin surface so the microfibers can transport it out of the shoe. Wool is also the best cushioning fiber so it also is placed in areas such as over the instep where protection from lace pressure is needed. The result is drier feet and a more cushioned foot than with other socks.
