I got these socks because in the winter, my toes are almost always cold. These do a pretty good job of keeping things toasty! Especially when I am inside and am not wearing some UGG boots. I have not used them on an actual hike so cannot speak to their effectiveness for that specific purpose - but they ARE warm.
Brands I'd also recommend: UGG boots

I love ZAPPOS. It’s so great. I can buy several sizes of shoes and try them on at home. What doesn’t fit, I can send back for free. No other company does that. Of course most everything I buy ends up fitting and looking great. I’ve bought most of my favorite shoes from Zappos. I recently bought some very cool Rainboots made by Dirty Laundry and they fit so great and are so comfortable, like wearing slippers. Bought socks, too. Bridgedale socks are awesome, thick, comfortable and last forever. Highly recommend these socks and also recommend UGG shoes, and slippers. Can’t say enough good things about Zappos. So glad you’re there for me.
