Talk \'bout an awesome pair of socks! All Bridgedale socks are the best, no doubt; however, these Endurance Summits are a cut above. The quality of construction is incredible, with great attention to every detail. These socks are the warmest socks I have ever used! If you need a great pair of thick, warm socks for hiking, the Bridgedale Endurance Summit will not disappoint you! Invest in your feet!

1st off, fast shipping and excellent service! These socks are perfect for everyday use. If you are looking for hiking socks, search out the other models of Bridgedales. I use them instead of dress socks/semi casual 12 months a year here. I have 8 year old Bridgedales that are still awesome! I do buy them a size larger to account for any shrinkage.

Overall:

My new favorite for walking and hiking because it has plenty of cushion underneath my foot. I can wear it with shoes or low boots.

This sock is great - it cushions really well against pounding but has a thin snug fit that I really like. I use it for running and tennis.

Surprise find - I first saw these socks at a ski resort in Montana - the sales guy in the resort shop told me that they made ski socks and had just recently started to do hiking socks. Anyway, bought some there and tried them out on the Montana trails. I hike the Arizona mountain trails (hard and rocky) 3 days a week and these are my new favorites (old favorites were smart wool).

The most comfortable warm weather socks I've worn - I love the Bridgedale Ventum socks. They offer excellent cushioning and vent very well. They are best suited for warm weather hiking, light backpacking, and fast packing but even work well in cooler temperatures, they just aren't as warm as my other socks (I usually wear Ingenius socks by Wigwam when the temps are a bit colder and for heavier backpacking). The feel and cushion is unmatched by any sock I've warn.

Fit my size 16 feet. Snug but comforting, like a small controlled fire in your socks on a cold night.

The socks I received were of good quality. I wore them hiking and they met my expectations. They held firm inside the boots that I was wearing unlike a lot of socks that are on the market today. I would order more socks from your company as the need arises.

Anyone who has a small foot knows that socks that fit size 9-11 will need to be rolled over. It is so nice to find socks made for small feet. They are comfortable and well-cushioned. The only thing I don't like about these is that the washing instructions say "no fabric softener" so I have to take them out and finish the load. Hey, for these socks, I will do that!

BEST socks EVER!I have owned these socks for about 18 years. They are just starting to show wear! I was so excited to see you have them since the place I originally bought them does not carry them any more. THEY NEVER WEAR OUT! They are a little spendy, but they'll outlast any sock. I swore I'd only wear them hiking, but they are for everyday use as well. I'm forever a Bridgedale customer.

Expensive but excellent - Hard to believe these cost as much as they do, but they're perfect. Good weight, good cushioning, and, most importantly, a precise fit. Down with unisex socks! These are much better.

Good looks and comfort, wicking acceptable - I really like the looks and feel of these socks. After a few washes, the socks have a little bit of a "fuzziness" to the fabric. Not like they are falling apart, but it looks like they have a bit of static cling. I air dry them on a rack and never machine dry them. As for wicking/wetness, these are better than cotton, but not as good as Smartwool. For me that matters, so I'm a little disappointed, but if you don't have especially sweaty feet like me, you should be fine.
