This brand was highly recommended, so I bought it trying to get a toaster that would toast evenly on both sides. This was just like the others - one side was much darker than the other, and the top of the toast was much darker than the bottom. I don't think there is a toaster that will toast evenly anymore.

I ordered the toaster about 9:30PM Thursday with expectations of receiving it on Monday. But no, 12 hours later (10AM) it was at my front door. Incredible, you are the best.

I bought this toaster because I like the design. True, the darkness knob setting does change when the toaster is handled. The crumb tray is a decent size. It makes goods toast.
