This was a splurge for me, but well worth the price. Our stove top could never put out the heat that this baby does. It took about six minutes to stir fry frozen mixed veggies, raw onions, fresh asparagus, fresh green peppers, garlic, and ginger. Delish. Only used a touch of oil because of the non-stick surface. Nice finger hole to remove the plug from the electrical socket. Easy to clean, everything is washable, including the removable base, except the electric cord, of course. Small but informative recipe book included. It is very attractive looking; has a variable temperature dial, so can be used as a slow cooker, make casseroles, etc.

This wok is the latest addition to my collection of Breville kitchen items and is of the exact same high quality I have come to expect. Very, very well-made, gets super-hot, cleans up in a jiffy, looks beautiful on the counter. This wok is above and way beyond my last one that cost way more. This is a steal for the price! I plan to purchase another for an up-and-coming family birthday gift.
