I love this grinder! I like that the hopper holds one pound of coffee and the ease of operation. It looks really nice in my kitchen. Operating any equipment prior to coffee, hmm, but this does the job. Zappos great service as usual; best on internet.

A great grinder for the price! It offers a wide range of grind settings and is very easy to use. Love the flexibility to grind into the included canister, directly into a filter basket or best of all, into the portafilter of my espresso machine! Looks great, too. Add Zappos' consistently flawless service, and you have a "slam dunk."

I read a lot reviews on different grinders, I decided to go with Breville BCG800XL Smart Grinder even though it cost more than I had planned to spend. I made the right choice, I have not had any problems at all. It grinds the coffee just the way I like it every time. I had to set it up once to make my choice of brew. You just set and forget it. I would recommend this grinder, I hope this helps.

Great grinder, I spent a couple of months researching and mulling over the options out there and finally settled in this and am very happy. Can grind enough for up to 12 cups at one time. My coffee has never tasted better!

I had a DOA, but the replacement grinder has been superb. It's sealed hopper, automated grinding functions, and easy cleanup make this grinder stand out from the rest. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a conical grinder.

So far so good. I am writing this review after about 12 uses of the product. I wish I could review it after a few years... I am very happy with it's performance and ease of use at this point. I have never had a burr grinder before, however so I cannot compare it to other similar products. It does beat the snot out of a blade grinder though. You can definitely taste the difference.

A great design and an excellent value for a dose and brewing grinder. There are some redundant controls (such as separate strength and amount adjustments), but that's a minor complaint. The magnetic catch for the bin cup is a great idea. Electronically, I'd rather the amounts on the digital panel simply read in grams/oz. or tablespoons instead of shots and cups. I do have one major concern though. When running, the grinder does emit an odor of burning electronics. I am assuming it's because the item is brand new and it will go away. I do own and operate a roasting coffee house and use large MACAP grinders. The grind quality and consistency of this Breville unit is certainly on-par with the best

We have only had this grinder for about a month, but what a huge improvement it has made in the taste of our drip coffee! Who knew drip brew could taste so good! In the past when we really wanted a super tasty home-brewed coffee, we would have coffee specially ground at our local roaster and then brew it in our French Press, but now our Cuisinart drip maker (which sees use at least twice a day) is our go-to brewer since getting the Breville grinder. So quick, relatively quiet, very easy to use, no mess. And changing the grind settings is a no-brainer! I wish we'd had one years ago! Highly recommend!

The Breville Smart Grinder is my first burr grinder. I absolutely love it! It is stylish looking and compact. It is easy to change from coarse to fine grind, with 25 adjustments. And just as easy to change from 1 shot to 2 or more shots--with the ability to adjust your dose up or down in increments. Maybe best of all, there is no coffee grind mess, not even one little ground! Another nifty feature is that it holds a portafilter and grinds right into it with no mess.
