About Lucchese
The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder´s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot making. Sam Lucchese Jr.´s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese´s one-of-a-kind boot's last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit.
No other boot fits the human foot like a Lucchese boot, thanks to Lucchese's original design and meticulous construction. From the exclusive "twisted cone last" design and the careful selection and cutting of the finest grade of leather, to the hand-drive lemon wood pegs and meticulous finishing of a boot. You can't beat the price! The boot is beautiful, I usually wear 7 1/2 M and this is running very narrow. I am also unhappy with the color. They are going back tonight!
These are my second pair of Lucchese boots. Unlike other boots, they require no break in time! They are amazing. These boots in particular look like I have had them for years, and they felt like it too. I love the more destressed, yet stylish, look. The stiching is just noticable enough to make them more unique than most.
Great looking boot, very well made. Be sure to check the Lucchese company site for fit guide. Probably wise to try on a pair at a retail store first to make sure sizing matches your real foot needs.
Just got my boots, they are beautiful, they do run big so order 1 size down, fit is narrow, might have to return them for a C width.
I ordered an 8.5B as this brand tends to run about 1/2 size larger. I normally wear a 9. I was expecting the boot to be a little softer. Also, I expected the pattern of the left boot to be a mirror of the right, not an exact copy. For example, I want a similar pattern on the left big toe area to be the same on the right big toe area, instead that pattern is more towards my right little toe. The stitching along the top of the back shaft on the right boot is unraveled is two places. This is a burnished boot and I was expecting variations in color. The right toe is much darker than the left. I suppose with time this would be less noticeable.
Just received my boots in the mail and I love them. Absolutely, no break in time needed. Slipped them on and felt like I've had them forever! I usually wear a size 7 and bought a size 6 1/2 (after reading the reviews), and they fit perfectly. Great arch support, snug on the top of the foot, and they smell great. Think I'll get buried in them as they will live on long after me.
What can I say? Hot pink cowboy boots - when men comment on your boots, you know you've made the right choice! These boots are gorgeously crafted, and the picture represents the colors spot on. I have a wider foot, but read the reviews and trusted they would loosen up. After wearing them once, they fit like a glove - snug but not too tight. I normally wear a 9 but ordered a 1/2 size down (8.5), and they were perfect. The leather is soft, the heel a perfect height, and the detail beautiful. I bought these boots as a to me from me gift to celebrate three years cancer-free from my breast cancer, and it was the perfect way to celebrate!!! This is my first pair of boots, and it won't be my last pair of Lucchese! I adore them!!
I bought these (through a different retailer) and found the left arch support to be in the wrong place. It was farther back than the right boot and extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise, they looked like great boots, and if I only had one foot they might have been comfortable. I usually wear Frye or Ariat and was disappointed by the quality control at Lucchese.
This is the most beautiful boot! What a work of art. I usually wear an 8M in most shoes. However, I started out with a 7 1/2 m which was way too big. I reordered a 6 1/2 M thinking no way would it fit. I am glad I took the chance because this pair is a perfect fit. They arrived right on time for my trip to AZ. Thank You Zappos!
The best buy ever! I'm a fairly frugal shopper but these boots were worth every penny! Needed very little breaking in. Wore them brand new and danced all night without a problem. Soft leather and a nice sized heel. No matter where I go people comment on them and in a good way. These boots are not your average run of the mill boots. Sharp and edgy, but with class! Well made - I will have these boots for the rest of my life!
Love these boats! The first time I wore them, I was on my feet all day. Felt as good as tennis shoes. And they are so cute! I will wear them forever.
These boots are drop dead gorgeous. They looks better in person. This is a very nice color combination with the wingtip design. I was so disappointed the 7½M was a perfect fit on my left foot, however the right boot was huge (fall off huge), this was just a misfit pair. I hated to return these boots. I put my name on the wait list for a 7 and 7½M. I usually wear 7½ or 8M in most other boots.
I can't believe that I have had my boots for almost a year now! This is the first pair of cowboy boots I have ever purchased and they have turned out to be everything I wanted. I have always had wide feet and typically have a very difficult time finding shoes. Getting a regular width is not even an option. These boots are supportive and hold my foot without being squeezy. I took the advice from the reviews and ordered a half-size up. For me, shoes have to be comfortable right out of the box or I don't purchase them. I'm not a believer of breaking in shoes. These are not only comfortable, but they look great too!
These are great boots. I usually wear 9 - 9 1/2, in this boot I wear an 8 1/2.
Very nice boot, overall runs large. I have come to love Lucchese because they do run narrow, with a narrow heel. However this line, Spirit, runs very generous. I would safely go down 1/2 size; however, they don't offer it. So, I have tried my orthotic and magnetic insole and a thicker sock, and it's still pretty big. Shoot!
These were just delivered today. My Charlie 1 Horse's (made by Lucchese) are size 8B and perfect for me. So I thought these would run similarly. Sadly, these are too narrow for me and will be going back tomorrow.
I really liked these boots but the sole started coming apart after only one month of wear. I have to return them.
I bought these for my husband and he loves them! They are his first pair of Lucchese and all of the reviews were spot on. They are well made and very comfortable. Usually he needs to wear wide shoes but with these the 8½D worked with only a couple of days of wear to make them perfect. We have definitely become Lucchese fans!
Exactly what I was looking for - this boot fits my long and narrow foot much better than any other brand I tried. The leather is gorgeous (better than the pictures!) and goes with everything. Definitely order down at least 1 or 2 sizes (I wear 11N and the 9 fits best).
