I sent the first pair back because the difference in the shade of the suede between the shoes was very noticeable. The second pair, perfect. Comfortable. Very smooth soles, great for dancing, easy moon-walking, and telegraphing your approach. Did I mention, attractive people, of a variety of genders and perhaps even a couple of decades younger than yourself, though of the age of consent, will seek to start conversations with you, and retain your attention for an extended period of time. Well worth the price of this fantastic shoe. One day shipping, very easy returns, and excellent customer service.

Liked this shoe so much, I ordered a second pair in black! Good for sensitive feet, very cushioned. Decided I don't need 3 pair.

This is the first time that I bought a Florsheim penny loafer. I am please with it, though the price is a bit steep. I bought it because the other brands discontinued my size. So far, I am pleased with the shoes.

These are great shoes. They are very comfortable, really nice looking, and sized accurately - I am a 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. I am not someone that cares about arch support, so it does not bother me that they are basically flat inside.

I really want to like these shoes, they have so much going for them! But ultimately, it’s the fit and function that determine how good a shoe is, and this one, unfortunately, just doesn’t work well with my feet. The good: These are high quality footwear. The seams are constructed perfectly, the materials are top notch and the aesthetics timeless. The craftsmanship is just beautiful and they are comfortable right out of the box. They seem to fit a vast majority of wearers quite nicely. The not so good: The design of the shoe includes a support piece that my foot is not used to, which does not work well with my gait and causes pain. On a regular dress shoe, the heel and the foot pad sections are separated with an open space. For example, wearing regular shoes, when standing up, it is possible to slide a pencil under your shoe on one side and have it come out the other side. The Nobles do not allow that. The area which is typically open is covered by a two inch wedge that connects the heel to the foot pad. This adds rigidity to the shoe, since the bottom of the shoe is always connected to the ground. Look at the 3rd picture from the top and see the lighter colored middle section of the bottom of the shoe. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but that entire section makes contact with the ground when you walk. If you look at the 4th picture, zoom in on the heel portion and you’ll see it a little bit better. It would be nice to have a ground-level side view so this feature can be better appreciated. For many (or most, based on the reviews), this function adds comfort. For me, however, this creates a pressure point where none exists in all my other dress shoes. Combine that with my 10-2 feet (the natural position of my feet point out a little bit), and with my gait that wears the outside back portion of my shoes quicker, that pressure point starts to become noticeable, then warm, then by the end of the day painful. If I wear the shoes back to back days, by the third day the foot hurts so much I can barely walk. Clearly my experience is the rare exception. But if your feet at all sound like mine vis a vis position and gait, you may want to pay special attention to the fit, and wear them in your home carpet a little longer than usual to see if that pressure point starts showing up. If it does, you may consider a different shoe.

This item is very comfortable to wear, even when walking around all day. My only complaint about this item is that my little toe keeps slipping out. It would have been great if the covering strap near the front was positioned a little to the back. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

A beautiful pair of shoes. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Each shoe was inside of a brown cloth bag with the Florsheim name on it. I have never seen shoes packaged this way. What a treat! Zappos cannot be beaten for quality and customer service. When I shop for shoes online, Zappos is the only website I use.

Very nice shoe. Runs way long. I'm just going to return with Zappos excellent return policy and order smaller size. I ordered 9.5 but need to go to 8.5. I wear 9.5 in almost every other Florsheim shoe I've ever bought; which have been many.

First, I have to say that I have worn Florsheim Lexington (or similar) shoes since the early 1980s with no issues. The Kenmoor are the worst shoes I have ever owned. The first pair developed an annoying click in the right heel about two weeks after I got them. I brought them to a cobbler (assuming a repair would be cheaper and easier than sending them back). He declined to repair them saying as it was a mid-sole issue, the repair likely would not last. So I contact Florsheim to do the repair, but they too declined. Persistence paid off, or so I thought, and they finally exchanged them. The first replacement pair were loafers! Those were sent back immediately; the second replacement were Kenmoors like I returned. That pair, even though worn only two to three days a week, quickly wore through the leather on the topline and later developed a loud squeak in the mid-sole. Sorry Florsheim -- I was a customer for 30+ years, but I work too hard to have shoes last a few months.

This was my first time buying shoes on line. I was a little worried, although I had previously purchased shoes from an online site for a major department store. I was pleased and satisfied with the entire Zappos process. I will use it again, and recommend it to anyone.

I bought two pairs for my son and his brother as they both needed shoes for the older son's wedding. I bought two sizes - ended up sending the larger one back and using the smaller pair for the brother with the larger feet. Good looking but about a size too large.

Great looking shoes - I've gotten many compliments. They definitely run big I wear size 13 dress shoes and these are definitely too big. Regarding a previous review about the sole wearing out -- it's completely untrue. I think that person was likely referring to the Florsheim stamp on the sole -- this does go away within hours of wearing but it's nothing structural but simply a stamp.

Wonderful shoe. Typical Florsheim classic styling - looks better than the photo - and fits like a dream. A very comfortable, classy looking dress shoe.

Beware: These shoes just run very large. I measure as a 12.5, but normally have to wear a 13 because most shoes don't come in 12.5. I wear a 12 in All-Stars because they run large. The 11.5's in this Florsheim are at least 1/2 inch longer than my size 12 All-Stars.

Beware: runs a full size larger. Knocked it down a star because I had to return for the correct size. I normally have to buy a 13, as I'm a 12.5. With the comments that the shoe runs large, I ordered a 12. The 12 is still too large and I had to order an 11.5.

The shoe felt much larger than the sizing. I got a 10.5 and it felt more like an 11.5. I compared it to my other 10.5 size shoes and it was definitely longer. The darker coloring on the toe and heel is much more prominent in real life than on the image. I won't knock the star rating down because of that though because it's all based on your own preference and the style you are going for. I would suggest getting a half size smaller than what you usually get for this shoe.

Overall a great fit. Only wish the side panels included a mesh to keep toes from getting caught in the straps.

This is a beautiful, high-quality shoe. However, it's enormous! I ordered my normal size and it felt almost a full size longer (I normally wear Cole-Haan dress shoes). Made me wonder if it was mis-marked. It's also very high (measured from the ground to the top of the shoe). The top parts that lace together were almost touching on my shoe. This means you might want to consider a bit narrower than you normally wear. As always, Zappos exchange was a piece of cake.

This shoe is pretty spectacular for the price. It looks like it cost over $300. It can easily be mistaken for a To Boot New York or Magnanni shoe which cost $300+. The insole is very soft and comfortable. The leather is soft and comes with a great shine. My only complaint is that they have absolutely no traction, as is usually the case with most dress shoes, and they are noisy. I am sure noise they make with each step will go away as the leather softens, but for now, they are a bit obnoxious and draw a lot of attention (especially when walking in late to a very important meeting). I would definitely recommend this shoe!

Great-looking slip-ons. Took a while to break in, which is the primary reason for the 3 stars. At first made my Achilles very uncomfortable. After wearing them for a couple weeks and working them a little bit, they're now fairly comfortable. Still don't prefer to be on my feet in them for long periods of time.

This is a well made, great looking shoe. I had a pair many years ago and recently found out they still make these "comfort tech" type of shoe. They are well cushioned shoes. I would warn that they seem narrow. I generally get a standard size 11 for everything, but in this case they were tight at first. They are loosening up now. I love these shoes!
