I bought these in Vermont last weekend and ran 4 miles on icy, muddy trails with lots of traction and support. My feet stayed dry.

While fitting me with custom made braces for my ankles my doctor said I would never wear flip-flops again. I found the Montrail Molokini by accident online, ordered a pair, and they are great! They give me more support and comfort than anything my doctor made for me and allow me to walk pain free. Now if I could find the same support in shoes that would be great.

These flip-flops are on my feet always when I'm home. After running for 25 years, my hips broke down, and I need constant support. I walk comfortably again because I wear these constantly.

Great looking shoe but runs short and not too cushiony. Was not planning to run in these. Just for running around the city. But despite the fact they looked great they felt a little hard and I really need something super comfortable for all of the dashing around that I do. Not sure if I will order in a bigger size or look for something else.

The Badrock, aptly named, felt uncomfortably hard, till I substituted foam inserts for the hard stock ones. With that change, they were comfortable for high speed walking. They have good width in front so toes do not feel cramped. They have good traction on most surfaces, but not wet aggregate. Laces have a lot of friction, but that permits you to tighten where you like. The laces do pull in at the top very well, protecting against pebbles falling in and preventing boot to boot contact at the ankle while walking. The waterproof system, OutDry, worked well for about 6 weeks, or 60 miles for me, and then totally disappeared. Now, a half hour of walking in 4 inch wet grass leaves my feet soaking wet. The shoes, however, show no sign of wear, so should have a long life. Zappos was fantastic, accepting the return and, of course, paying shipping both ways.

I used these shoes for summer hiking in the Alps and in the Himalayas. The terrain was tough on these shoes but I would say they fared pretty well given the 40+ days of strenuous hiking I put on them. A very breathable, light (but sturdy), comfortable shoe with a roomy toe-box to accommodate foot swell. I was hoping to put more miles on them but happy enough to buy another pair. I hope Montrail keeps this up, quality and design had sunk the last few years but this one was a winner. I highly recommend their Enduro-sole footbed for this shoe or any other shoe that you will put long trail miles on. It absorbs shock like no other and has lasted for at least 800 miles.

I just received these today. Neat boot. The lacing system is cool. They feel as if the upper and insole need a week or so to break-in and mold to the foot. These will be a multi-purpose shoe/boot for me. Walking, hiking, working out at the gym, etc. Phenomenal ankle and mid foot support, very stable. I have never (ever) owned an "athletic" shoe with this much arch and metatarsal support. Once the upper stretches out a bit to accommodate my fat mid foot they will be perfect. Toe box is perfect, heel is perfect. I may need to get longer laces.

Have had 5 pairs over the last 3 years - they are fantastic. Have saved my feet. Use them indoors with tabi socks instead of slippers.

Unfortunately I found the the toe box height was too narrow for my toes. The footbed support was very stiff, and it felt like a lot of break in would be needed. Also, the size runs small. It's unfortunate because I've had 2 other pairs of Montrail hikers that I liked, but sadly they were discontinued.

Feel good shoe from the first wear. A little loose in the toe box but fits great in the heel. No slipping, no blisters, good arch, good traction.

These shoes are strangely short for Montrail's normal sizing.

Love the look, very comfortable cushion and support. Seem pretty well made. Big problem though. These are clearly the right size on both feet, yet after wearing them for 2 days (9 hours each) my right Achilles is in agony. I can't even wear them, brand new. Something about the design of the heel cup is just not working for me. It angles in too much or something. I do have "sharp" heels, but I've never had this problem on a pair of shoes, especially not sneakers, or trail runners. Not much to be done, I've worn them outside and gotten them dirty, but be careful with these...

I have an older pair of these shoes and they were the only shoes that my feet were happy in when I had a lot of foot pain due to plantar fasciitis. I wear them around the house as slippers. But, I was super disappointed to get this new pair and see the lower quality than what I had purchased in a running shoe store. These shoes have little bumps of material all over them, like shoe warts. It's very strange; my original pair is smooth and well-made. I don't know how these got past any kind of quality control, it's like no one bothered to inspect them. I'm returning the shoes and may just buy them in person in a store again.

Best footwear ever. I have neuropathy and my feet hurt with or without shoes. These flips have given me back some mobility without pain. My expensive orthotics can't even compare. I have purchased 3 pairs for myself, another for my sister, and am back to get more for fear the will stop making. I have yet to wear out the 1st pair. Excellent stability. Buy these, you will not be sorry.

The Montrail Molokini flips feel very odd to me...as if only part of my foot is standing on a rubber platform. I have a lot of foot problems and I'm too nervous to wear these as I don't want to make my problems worse. I can't wear flips for too many hours. I prefer the Montrail Women's Lithia Flip...which I can wear for a couple hours, and it has arch support and feels more "normal" on my foot.

I tried on the women's size 8 and size 9 in these flips...Montrail Healer Flip. These flips run long. I normally wear a size 8.5 in sandals, but the size 8 in these flips is fine. (The size 9 leaves too much extra "shoe" beyond my toes.) I wore both sizes around the house...the size 8 just fits. At first I thought I could wear the size 9 as well, but after wearing it a bit in the house, I discovered it caused some foot pain as it's really too big (too long). This shoe needs to fit right because you want your heel to be held snugly. It has good arch support, and the footbed is more cushy than the superfeet footbed The piece that goes between your toes is soft enough for tender toes. It has good arch support...somewhere between moderate to high arch support.

Quite comfortable cushioning, maximum arch support, sits fairly high off the ground at the heel. Overly large/roomy toe box and midfoot (would advise this shoe for voluminous feet only, not even medium volume) which lends to a lack of lateral stability. If you're running groomed or rails-to-trails, ok. Rocky, rooty, true hiking trails, consider that these may lack an ability to lock your foot in.

Fantastic lightweight boots! They're a little on the small size, so I had to order a size up from usual. They're incredibly supportive, all the way around the foot including the sides, which I like.

Light, good traction offroad, very good fit The shoe has a large toe box but is snug elsewhere. Too bad there isn't a road version (yet). My only complaint is that the tread is wearing quickly.

I ordered the Montrail Healer Flip in women's size 9. (I usually wear a size 9 wide in women's athletic shoes.) This is a comfortable flip with good padding and support. It's good for a foot with medium to high arches. (I have high arches.) The straps accommodate my high instep nicely. The footbed is wide -- fits my wide foot. It runs a half-size larger than marked in length. If you order your true size in length, you will find you have a little extra toe room left over. Although I think this size 9 is best for me (my true size), I'm going to order the size 8 as well to be sure of the fit. The piece of material between my toes feels more comfortable than most flips. It's made from a flexible, soft, but strong material. This flip feels more comfortable than the flips made by Orthaheel. The footbed in this Montrail Healer Flip is gentler on the foot than the footbed on the Superfeet flip.

I've been using these for years. The heat-moldable flip-flops are awesome for flat feet! I haven't had plantar fasciitis for at least 4 years now!
