Frye Kids

They didn't really fit my wide feet and still clunky, so I had to return. Great style and construction though. I were women's 5.5 and tried 3 in these. The leather seemed a little too flappy around the shaft. I don't know if that's for comfort but I was expecting more structured-type boots looking at the photo.

Very cute boots. My child wants to wear them every day. Very nice quality.

These are my daughter's favorite shoes. She loves the butter soft leather and the bright red color!

I have tiny feet and have to wear kid's shoes. The problem is that they simply are not made to last. I bought these shoes and wore holes in the heal and then the bottom of the shoe in under a year. I loved these shoes but I can't afford to buy a new pair every year. And I even found them for $80 about two years ago. After the first pair I got another and it wore out in about 8 months. If you are are looking for something you can wear and walk around in every day these might not be what you want.

I normally wear a woman's size 5 shoe (sometimes 5's are too big). I ordered these in a 3 and a 2.5 first, and they were both too big for me. I sent them back for a 2, and they are perfect. They are not too big to wear with a thin sock but not too small to wear with a thick sock either. I love that these seem to be pretty much the same as the woman's engineer boot. They don't come in as many colors, but they are still great Frye quality for much less money (one bonus of a small foot!). The first day, I wore these to walk all over the mall, and they were very comfortable. They are certainly wide enough to wear with a jean, with a lot of room to spare on my relatively small calves. I can see how they'd be great for a larger calf. I'm very happy! Just remember to order your size accordingly.

Darling! I wish they had the adult version in my size. Unfortunately they are too small for my daughter who is on the cusp of adult-sized shoes.

I bought these shoes for me. I am 4'10" and wear a women's 5½ so I figured why not save some money by getting the kid's shoe. I originally got the youth size 3 however it was a little tight on my right foot. I have slightly wide feet so that is why. I wanted to get a 3½ but Zappos does not carry half sizes in Frye kids so I got the 4. The 4 is a little big but my feet do not slip out terribly and now I can wear thick socks with them. I love these boots the leather is soft and they are very well made. I do wish that the sole was a little more cushioned; I put orthotics in them which made them more comfortable and fit better. Overall I do love these shoes, they are so cute. I wish I could have gotten a half size though.

The Zappos prices and service are excellent. I've ordered several shoes/sneakers over the years and have never had a problem.

My 4 year old grandson just loves these boots. They are comfortable from the start and look very cool. He wears them every day, and they look so cute with jeans. Size is exact and true, construction is of good quality. I highly recommend these, and so does my grandson James.

These are amazing boots! They are so comfortable even for my most picky shoe girl. She loves them for riding and general cowgirl chores.

These boots are the bomb! Due to the difficulty finding womens footwear in size 4.5 I'm often forced to buy childrens shoes. I bought the dark brown ones and loved them so much I came back for the black ones. These boots do run a tad large. I usually wear a size 2.5 to 3 in kids but I listened to the other reviews and went with a smaller size. I still had room for insoles which made them perfect. If you're looking for a comfortable casual boot, this is a very good choice. I'm a newbie to Zappos and would like to say the customer service is excellent. Thanks Zappos, I'm hooked!

I love these shoes they are so cute! I wear a size 7 womens but my feet run a tad smaller than that sometimes. These were a little tight at first but once they got broken in they worked like a dream! I definitely recommend them for shorter women especially those who struggle with tall boots because of the size of your calf. These fall just below my calf and I am 5'1. I love them and Zappos was great also! I ordered them on a Sunday and got them Wednesday which is quite quick for standard shipping. Anyways I recommend this shoe to anyone and it's totally adorable in dark brown!

I bought these boots last year for my little girl and we both loved them! We loved them so much that I'm purchasing another pair of them this year. Zappos has great service.

These boots are definitely of Frye-quality. I bought them as a gift for my mom and she loved them. They are a bit narrow around the shaft, so they did not look as great on me as they did on her. They will fit a big calf, but they will bunch up at the ankles a bit. They also run at least one size larger. My mom and I are normally a 5 in youth, but the size 4 fit perfectly, with room for socks. For those who want a short boot with real leather at a good price, the kids Frye boots are a steal.

Bought these for myself, I normally wear a 6 to 7 in women's, depending, mostly a 6.5 though. I ordered the 4, then both the 3 & 3.5. Tried all with insoles. The 4 was much too big. Less difference between 3 & 3.5 except 3 was too narrow. Keeping the 3.5. These remind me of short Veronicas and I love the grommets!

I absolutely love these shoes! I have a neuromuscular disease and even though I'm 21 my feet are tiny - it's hard to find shoes in my size that aren't hard to get on but aren't too babyish. The inside zippers are perfect for making sure my ankle's straight, and I love the style. Thanks Zappos!

I got these for my granddaughter and she loves them. They are super cute and apparently very comfortable. She normally wears an 11 but I got them a half size bigger so she has room to grow.

This boot is a great value. I got a pair about three years ago, but the heels finally died, and I've been searching for a replacement for months. Yesterday, it occurred to me to try this trick again - the Youth 4 is equivalent to a man's 4, which is about a 6 1/2 to 7 in woman's, and coincidentally my very size. These boots are comfortable and really well made. The brown color looks much nicer in person. I am hoping the toe box stretches a bit with time, but it's leather, so it should. I need a nice-looking boot that doesn't kill my sensitive feet, and these absolutely fits the bill. Looks great with jeans and leggings. Zappos is the best; I tried two other boots before getting these!

I ordered these boots for my daughter 1 size bigger than her shoe size. They are a little big but are comfortable and she will be able to wear them through 2 winters. Frye boot is well made and very soft leather. A big price for a young girl but she will get a lot of use from them as they are a classical style that go with many outfits.
