If you want to feel special just relaxing at home. Then this is the slipper for you. Pretty plus comfort all in one. Daniel Green Dormie...
These slippers are like wearing and walking on clouds. They keep my perpetually cold feet at home very warm and cozy. Sometimes I wear them with the heel down, like slippers. Little arch support, but these are so comfortable I don't notice. These slippers are a great and warm fuzzies and item. I would re-order again. Zappos equals happy feet!
Bought these for my 93 year old mother after showing her countless others from all the major chain stores. They always seemed to bother some part of her foot, especially her hammertoes. It took her a bit of time getting used to them but she finally has a pair of slippers that feel good.
These are a comfy little slipper with fairly nice cushion. I wish it had as much cushion as the Tracy, but it is still a good amount for our hardwood and slate floors. I found the 8N to be a good fit for my 8/8.5 foot. They are a bit generous so the narrow width was better as I am an A to B width.
Love this slipper! I looked through Zappos selection for days trying to decide, and this slipper turned out to be a great investment for the money. It's nicely constructed, extremely warm, very well padded, and has a durable sole on the bottom. For a person who normally takes an 8, the size SM was a little tight (but not uncomfortable). After a few days of wear, it has stretched to my foot and was no longer a problem. It would be great if this slipper was available in other colors and band options!
Perfect adjustable fit for my narrow foot. Just bought a new pair to replace the ones I have had for four years. I wear them for awhile each day so that's great value!
Cute, but yes, they do run short. I typically wear an 8/8.5 depending on the shoe and have an A/B width. I could get away with the 8.5M I ordered, but will try a 9 as the big toe is a bit tight as many have mentioned. Very comfy, though. Nice cushion under foot.
These are such pretty slippers that it's a bonus they are very comfortable. Since they have a velcro closure, they can be adjusted for "fat foot" days and "skinny foot days" just like you can wear a baseball cap in "bad hair days." I recommend them highly and will buy another pair if this pair ever wears out.
These slippers have converted me to Daniel Green for life. I've had Uggs, Emu, Wicked Good and dozens of other expensive brands and these are hands down the best. The closest I've had were Haflingers but they discontinued the style and their new ones don't compare. I have plantar fasciitis which in shoes I happily deal with using the Pedag viva mini in shoes but doesn't work in slippers. So I have to have cushioning and support and these provide both. I won't say that I could do a full day in the kitchen but dinner is no problem. Very comfortable. I wear them with socks and typically wear a size 8 1/2 so I chose a 9 and they fit perfect. After a month of wear they still fit well.
Sadly, the quality of this product has gone downhill. I have worn these slippers for over 12 years and each pair has lasted for several years in excellent shape. But my latest replacement, bought Jan. 2011, was wearing out by July! Lining in toe section was all torn up and even heel was wearing down! Unwearable by the fall! Contacted DG and they insist that quality is the same, but it is not. I am so disappointed, these were my daily go-to slippers, no slipper compares in comfort.
This is a beautiful slipper, but it's too tight over the arch of my foot. It seems to have adequate arch support, but the decorative band hurt the top of my foot. My feet have pretty high arches.
I really liked the look of these slippers and they appear to be well-made, but there seems to be a basic design flaw which makes them feel smaller than they are. The top opening is small and too far forward and pushes the foot forward on the footbed. They just weren't comfortable, even though the footbed itself was sized perfectly for my foot. So, reluctantly, I'm returning them...for free -- thanks, Zappos - always great service.
The slippers are still made with quality. They have not changed this classic product. Thank goodness!
I could not find a moccasin locally, so tried five different mocs from Zappos in hopes of finding the right one. (Old Friend Soft Sole Moc, EMU Australia Talia, Daniel Green Nessa, RSVP Chardonnay, and RSVP Lodge). My review of Daniel Green is as follows: I knew right away this moc was my least favorite. It was very flimsy (can bend in half backwards when no others could). It had very little padding and no support. The shoe was also slightly larger and my heels slipped right out. The bow is cute but sadly the shoe itself is lacking. There are better mocs out there for a similar price.
I have been trying for almost two years to find a slipper that is both wide and comfortable ! I only wish I had found these slippers 2 years ago! The wide with is wide enough. I normally wear a size 8 wide, however, I ordered a size 9 wide and they are perfect. Amazingly comfortable ! I received the 9 wide, as they were 'marked' (so I would recommend ordering larger than regular shoe size).
I bought these for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved them. She said they are very comfortable and fit nicely. The material looks like it's good quality and they look very nice and stylish.
I was looking forward to slippers as comfy as the ones I used to wear but these are miserably uncomfortable. There is no arch support nor cushion. So I thouight I would just get some archsupports and add them but the fit was off and in the Xmas ruch the box they came in was re-cucled and when I looked at the receipt found the small print that said I couldn't return them. I kept remembering the 365 day return policy as advertisedand thought "How many people keep all their shipping materials for a year?" I just wasted my money.
