First time I have ever purchased shoes without trying them on first. I love these shoes. They fit great. Look great. Comfortable. Very pleased with the product.

Nice comfortable shoe. No break in time required. I did take the advice of an earlier review and bought a half size larger than I usually do in Allen Edmunds and am glad that I did.

These are great looking shoes and very comfortable too! I have a hard time finding shoes in my size, and these 14-B's fit perfectly. This was my first time ordering from Zappos, and I will definitely do so again. I had ordered a second pair of medium width shoes and returned them with no problem since they were too wide.

Very comfortable dressy causal shoe. The distressed leather looks great with business casual or even jeans.

Own several pairs of Allen-Edmonds. This is a very comfortable shoe and what you'd expect from Allen- Edmonds. I bought them for a trip to NYC. Put miles on Manhattan sidewalks in these shoes right out of the box. Not a problem... and they get more comfortable with every wearing. Expensive for a very casual shoe, but worth it.

Simply beautiful shoes. I bought these shoes in Walnut and they are striking. Great quality, made in USA, can be resoled. Fit perfect right out of the box.

Beautiful shoes. Timeless classic and they can be recrafted. The leather on these shoes take a shine extremely well. I have had my shoes for 2 years and they look as good as the day I purchased them. This shoe is the most comfortable dress shoe I own. Step up to Allen Edmonds and you won't regret it.

Awesome slippers. Keep your feet nice a toasty in the winter. These shoes run narrow compared to my other Allen Edmonds. I normally wear an E width and the EEE width fits perfect in this shoe. Good overall quality.

First of all, I have wide feet and Allen-Edmonds makes a nice selection of wide shoes. The Black Hills shoe from Allen-Edmonds is stylish and heavy duty instead of just being stylish. They seem to go well with jeans or other casual attire and are really quite comfortable out of the box. They are kind of heavy, but then again sturdiness is a good thing. Not for prissy men.

Love these shoes. I purchased because I needed an upscale loafer in this color and I have few options in narrow widths. They fit well and are very comfortable. In fact, the shoes fit better than some other Allen-Edmonds I own.

Just received a pair of Allen Edmonds Cody Loafers ordered from Amazon today. I bought my first pair a couple of years ago from Zappos. Loved the fit, finish and classic styling of my first pair. The pair I received today were so cheap looking as to look like counterfeits. Uneven leather color. Both were 8.5 D but everything about this new pair was different. Each of my old shoes weighed 1.2 pounds and the new ones were 1.0 pound a piece; the fit was not good. I hope these are counterfeits! If they are not, Allen Edmonds has really gone downhill. If I pay this much for a pair of shoes, I expect quality shoes. Sent them back today.

After wearing Johnston & Murphy for many years, I was disappointed with my last J&M purchased and looked inside to learn they were manufactured in Mexico. Moved to Allen-Edmonds and have found the quality and comfort to be top notch and much like the J&M back when they were made in the U.S.A.

I love the style, but the crease where you bend your foot digs into my toes. Unfortunately, I didn't order them from Zappos or elsewhere with a good return policy. I special ordered these at an Allen Edmonds trunk show (hosted by a 3rd party retailer) and couldn't try them on before purchasing. Ultimately, the size was correct, but the comfort was not. I hope the fit and comfort works for you.

I love the style of my brown, textured pair. Unfortunately, all Allen-Edmonds dress shoes do not fit the same; you may not enjoy this pair as much as you do another pair of A-Es. So be sure your order has an acceptable return policy. Zappos seems to be pretty good in this respect. I just wish I had used Zappos for this purchase. Now on to the fit/comfort comments: I ordered the Park Avenue and another style of shoe at an Allen Edmonds trunk show (hosted by a 3rd party retailer) and couldn't try them on before purchasing. However, I was confident my size was correct because I have a wonderful pair of Delrays that continue to feel great after many years of use. Weeks after placing my order, I was disappointed to receive an expensive shoe that didn't fit well at all and had mediocre comfort. The 3rd party retail's special order policy prohibited any returns and refunds. The insole is practically flat and cannot be removed. The balls of my feet and toes are sore by the end of the day (FYI, the length of the shoe is fine). I tried to fix the problem by adding a very thin insole, but that throws off the entire fit even more. Also, when you take a stride, the shoe's opening around the ankle bows significantly on on each side. My other Allen-Edmonds dress shoes (Delray) do not share this characteristic. Finally, if you're feet are "lower volume" (for lack of a better term), but not narrow, the fit is not snug even with a standard tongue pad (which usually does the trick for me). So this latter comment may apply to only a limited audience. Bottom line -- not all Allen Edmonds oxfords will fit the same.

This is one good looking shoe! I ordered the shoe for my husband for Christmas and he loved it. Now it is his favorite pair. It was a great purchase.

Wow! These moccasins are incredibly comfortable and well made. I was nervous about such a supple wool interior, as my feet tend to sweat easily [ew]. However, these fit really nicely and are the perfect around the house/get the paper on the driveway/driving mocs, and I would most definitely recommend them to friends and family!

I have had the same pair in burgundy and black since April 2007 (almost five years). They are my go-to dress shoes for a navy suit, and also look great with some tan dress pants. I have gotten lots of compliments on these shoes and highly recommend them. They are well worth the cost, and still going strong!

My husband is very happy with these shoes. He has feet that are both wide and thick and these were comfortable from the first time he put them on.
