What can I say I'm 50 years old and I have been wearing chucks for at least 40 years, the only shoe I wear and the only show I will ever wear and as far as I'm concern they are the best show that you can buy. As far as comfort I think they are great. Some people think that I'm a little crazy but I do not care. I love my Chucks! Chucks always, always Chucks!

I absolutely love Zappos! I love these shoes! I wear them all the time and always get compliments! They are super cute shoe! I normally wear a 7½ but I bought a 7 after all the reviews. I am glad that I did, the 7 fits perfectly!

The color looked grayish brown on my monitor, but it's a dark gray. There's not much cushion but still pretty comfortable. The purple trim, silvery stripes, and the second set of purple laces are cute.

Zappos delivered my pair so quickly--it came the next day! I was excited to wear my new Chucks, but realized upon walking around in them that they were a bit too big. After some contemplation, I looked into returning and getting a size smaller. It was so easy to request a return, and so fast. Zappos is an excellent business. I will definitely shop with them again!

Love these shoes. Not as clunky as the usual Converse which I love. Great fit, good color. Would definitely buy again.

These shoes are 'cooleer than cool'. A real classic...and the red is such a fun colour. That said, my son's feet get sweaty in them (so do mine in mine from 30 years ago!). Maybe the rubber toe box?

I love these shoes, comfortable and classic. Buy a size smaller than you do for other shoes. I really try to only shop with Zappos. The service is the best, shipping is so fast, and returns are easy. I always get frustrated if I shop with anyone else, because it just never measures up to Zappos.

Great shoes. Very sturdy and good looking. I really like them. Be warned, though, they're big shoes! With the reinforced toe cap and all that, they're pretty bulky. Also, the 10.5s that I ordered fit like 11.5s. Possibly a bit more. I couldn't even touch the front of the shoe when shoving forward quite hard. So I returned them for a smaller size. (My true shoe size is 10.5 and has been for 25 years.)

Every time I wear these, I get compliments. To make them more supportive, I use insoles. They really are fun shoes and look so good with casual clothing.

Super skinny watch. I play golf & it does not take much space with the glove on. I love it.

Great shoe, unique style. A lot of people have Chuck Taylors but most I come across have never seen this color combo especially in leather. Lots of compliments on this. The only thing to be mindful of is that it is lined with fleece which is great for winter, but if you plan to wear it in the summer time when it's hot, your feet may get sweaty... Haven't worn it in summer yet, so we'll see.

I am 60 I got them for clown outfit when they went on sale but they are so comfortable and cute I wear them a lot. I get a lot of people ask me where I found them, so of course I say Zappos. The only problem is my calves have large muscles and that makes the laces too short to lace up all the way up so I leave the top two holes unlaced, but I have a solution just get short sneaker laces and add them on. I figure it will work. If not, they are cute they way they are. I am extremely happy with them!

Bought these for my son. He normally wears Youth or men's size 7 or 7 1/2. After reading the reviews, I ordered these in 6 1/2, but they were still too big. I exchanged them for size 6, and they are perfect. My son loves this style (no shoestrings to slow him down, plus he likes the look). This is his second pair of this style of shoe, but 1st in this brand.

My sister loves her XX Hi Converse. I had to return them once, because I got the wrong size. It wasn't a problem though; the return was fast and sweet. Thank you Zappos for making it easy for a big brother.

I've been wearing the cloth version of these shoes for years now, normally just waiting for some odd color to show up on sale somewhere, but I finally got sick of the cloth wearing out so quickly and decided to pony up for the leather version. I've been wearing them for about a week now, so I can't comment about longevity, but what I can say is that they feel like better versions of the cloth ones. The leather isn't stiff or heavy feeling, nor does it feel like that cheapo thin leather. It just feels like quality flexible material. As for comfort, support, and sizing the uppers are more comfortable than the cloth and everything else is pretty much exactly the same as normal canvas ones. No arch support, and flat bottoms. I just bought the same size I used to buy in canvas and it fit the same. Despite the fact that I usually hold out for cheap versions I just bought a second pair of these to throw in my closet so that I'll be guaranteed of having a replacement when the current ones eventually wear out. So yeah, I'd recommend them.

These were a birthday gift for my 15 year old grand-daughter. She likes them very much.

Great shoe. My first pair of Chuck T's and I'm not disappointed at all. I'm pretty picky about the way the shoes fit me, and I don't have anything bad to say about the comfort. I normally am a solid 8.5 in women s but the 9 was way too big. I exchanged it for an 8, and it fits great.

I always come to Zappos to buy my Converses. They have a consistent quality every time.

Overall, these shoes are exactly what I expected them to be. One of the reviews I read recommended wearing thin socks with them, and I agree; the design is such that it can be tricky sliding your foot into them, so thin socks are definitely the way to go. I was hoping that the eyelets were functional -- thinking I might throw some silly laces in there -- but they're are sewed down to the shoe. I love them.
