Sorel Reviews
Love these boots. So comfortable for walking and sledding. They almost make me wish it snowed more. But shhh...don't tell the weather that!
Beautiful boot. Very true to size. Nice wide width so you can wear thick socks! I love my Sorel boots!
I really like these Sorels both for their functionality and style. I've worn them hiking through the snow, around town, and walking to work. All times my feet have stayed dry and relatively warm. With thin trouser socks for work, they aren't that warm, but with some wool socks, they're great. They are a little stiff, but I still find them comfortable enough to wear all day Saturday, getting my hair done, shopping, and out to eat. They are easy to slip on and off, as well. Size: I usually wear an 8 in regular shoes, and an 8.5 in running shoes. I went with the 8.5, and that was the best choice.
I absolutely love these! I've had them for about a month now, and seeing as I live in the PNW they have gotten quite a bit of use. My feet stay completely dry and warm, and they are comfortable as well. The ankles are a little stiff I suppose, but it doesn't bother me. They come with polka dot shoelaces as well which give them a cute touch. I highly recommend these or any other rain boot by Sorel!

Yes, it is true I bought these boots in part because of their name. But I'm keeping them for their performance. My feet haven't been cold once while wearing them--and while there hasn't been much snow in Vermont, there have been plenty of days below 0. That being said, I've also worn them in the office a few days and my feet were not uncomfortably warm. Whatever the insulation is, it works!! There's plenty of room to tuck jeans into the top of the boot, even with my ginormous calves! I love having the rubber bottoms, too! I could not ask for a better boot!
Good winter boot. Warm and comfortable. Happy with my choice. Break-in time is needed, especially for the ankle support strap area.
Sorry to say... I found these unwearable. The wool felt liner buckles with every step, pressing painfully into the back of the ankle. I had had enough when I came home with bloody ankles after the 4th or 5th wearing. The wool is quite abrasive, which not only hurts but will ruin your socks and tights. Also, they are ridiculously wide. It was like I was wearing frying pans on my feet! I am shocked that these boots have received such high ratings. I exchanged them for a pair of Keen waterproof hiking boots and I'm much happier. Kudos to Zappos for great customer service, especially since I had already thrown away the box!
I am very pleased with these boots. They were completely comfortable and kept my feet very warm. They did not slip on my feet when I walked like to many other snow boots do.
These boots are great. I wore them snowmobiling in Montana in -10 degree weather and my feet never got the least bit cold. I wore thick wool socks under them and my feet stayed toasty warm. They are kind of clunky looking, but extremely appropriate for the environment. I bought a "cute" pair and am sending them back. These are the ones!
Love these 'boots with the fur!' it's been a mild winter but the days I have been lucky enough to be able to use them I don't want to take them off... They keep my feet incredibly warm through frigid temps and all types of wet stuff. A little heavy, and the backs rub against my calves, but nothing socks can't help.
I absolutely love these boots! They came quick, they fit perfectly. I was concerned about the size but they are true to fit. I wear a size 8 and that was perfect. They are so warm and comfortable. I love the zipper on them.
Love the boots. Been trying for a very long time for something waterproof and cute. I suffer from bunions making my foot very wide, and plantar fasciitis and have to wear custom orthotics. I was worried the width would not work, but alas, it did. I slipped out the insole, inserted mine and Yay ! Perfection. I did order a half size larger to accommodate this, and from reading other reviews, very glad I did. I plan on wearing thin socks as I do not need the extra warmth where I live. Now, if it would only rain so I can go out and play in the puddles.
Love this boot. Warm, comfortable, and fashionable as well. I'm a true 7.5 and the 7 fits perfectly. I think the 8 would have been too bulky.
The blue is a nice color and more charming than the black house shoes they're replacing. I wear a 9.5-10 but am happy with these in a 9. The arch support is pretty weak though. These are comfortable but I actually wanted something much more supportive for my low arches. Does anyone make something like that? Note, I also bought shearling arch supports for my Uggs because I can't stand a smooshy, flat insole. Those arch supports are better than nothing but not truly supportive either. Why am I telling you since I didn't buy those supports from Zappos (only b/c Zappos doesn't sell them)? Just to give you a frame of reference for what a stickler I am about support in my shoes. These are comfortable but when it's time for replacement I'll try another style and perhaps a different brand. I didn't return these because it is very difficult to find a solid, good-looking house shoe. Most on this site are frilly, or covered with silly designs. That's not at all what I want to wear everyday so I settled this and they're fine.
I love my new Sorel boots! They have a lot of brown in the plaid as well which I didn't realize until they came. Very comfy and warm! Thanks :)
Love, love, love these boots! I bought them for a ski trip and they worked out perfectly! I wore them every day of my vacation. They are very comfortable and my feet stayed warm and dry while playing in the snow with my kids. I ordered a half size larger than my usual shoe size, like I do with all boots.
Great boot. Bought a 10.5 and I normally wear an 11. They fit perfect a half size smaller. With a neoprene liner my feet did sweat a little after a long day of wearing them, but I got used to it quickly and don't notice it being as bad as it was at first. They broke in quickly as well, within a couple of days. Zappos is the only way to buy shoes!
My husband has a pair of Sorel's, that I always "borrowed" when I had to go help shovel; they were more comfortable than my snow boots (another brand). I finally decided to purchase a pair of Sorel's for myself, and after a nice little snow storm, and lots of shoveling, I am very pleased with my purchase. They are comfortable to walk in, provide good traction, and kept my feet warm and dry.
These snow boots are great - heavy, but heavy is good for the best footing - not much snow so far this winter, but I'm ready, in fact, with these boots I'm more than ready - I'm prepared.
