The left shoe pinches and feels a tad narrow, and overall both feel slightly tight. I've walked around in them for a few days hoping it would help and it did not. Facing front forward, the shoe looks great, from the side, there appears to be a slight ripple where the toe box meets the arch.
Beautiful shoe! Love the sturdy heel and toe box shape. However, the elastic makes the shoe feel smaller and I was surprised about how little room the toe box had. The length of the shoe was just fine.
I love the look of these boots. Nice heel height. The leather has a unique look as well. The heel was too lose in my regular size and is a tad tight to get into a size smaller. I went for the half size smaller and once the boot is on, they are great.
I received the shoes promptly & am impressed with how really pretty they are. Unfortunately it's February & I won't get to wear them any time soon, but they feel really comfortable. I am a little concerned with the width, they feel a little wide at the strap & I hope they don't stretch. I checked & there is not a narrow version available. Over all I like them & will wait until warm weather to make the final call.
I got my normal size (7) and still had about 1/2 inch of toe room. The heel was fine - not too loose, not too tight. I have to return and hope they have 6.5. Also - the boot isn't actually as "orange" as it looks in the picture. It is definitely distressed, but not too over the top.
These boots are not up to the usual Donald Pliner quality standards. They seem cheaply made, with the leather buckling along the zipper on one boot. The fake distressing is really poorly done, in wide swaths that doesn't even come close to what real distressing looks like. Weird. I have always been satisfied with this brand in terms of fit, comfort and quality, but these were a big disappointment, even at one-third of the original price.
Surprisingly poor quality materials and design. Uncomfortable, thin lining, no padding in the sole and very wide across the heel. Went straight back.
I have this pair in very dark green, they are beautiful and actually comfortable to walk in. Because of the rubber sole - very stable, easy to walk in. I'm not too crazy about the overall shape of the shoe, the heel is positioned a bit too far back which makes the sideview a bit awkward.
I love these shoes for their comfort and classy look. Details are elegant and feminine; workmanship great, surprised though that for the price they are made in China and not in Italy.
Yikes! Looks stunning in photo but like Wicked Witch of the West shoes on your foot. The pointy toe extends over 1/2" past end of foot.
Love these boots!!! Comfortable and stylish and great price! The only downside is the difficulty in putting them on! Too bad the inside seam didn't have a zipper! I kept them because once they are on, they rock! Just very narrow in the ankle area!
These boots are awesome! They look exactly as shown and are very sturdy, comfortable and fashionable. I have gotten many compliments on them.
These are so cute but the 8 was too long and the 7.5 was too tight so I had to send them back.
These are beautiful boots. They are lightweight, the design is well thought out, and they have zippers. However, they are still very difficult to put on, yet easy to take of. This is a draw back. They are definitely for dress and not the desert or rain or anyother weather. After owning, Lucchese and Frye boots, these are definitely for Hollywood.
Footbed fit perfectly. Extremely uncomfortable around the ankles. Buckle and strap were to constricting for comfort. Strap is technically adjustable, but doesn't look right when loosened.
Great looking boot. I ordered them on Tuesday and they arrived on Wednesday (fast). I tried them on and can't wait to actully wear them. Fit is fine. Sexy as hell.
I love these brushed suede boots! They fit true to size and are very comfortable. They are a great alternative to typical western boots.
Great shoe out of the box. Very true to fit, I wear a 7 and that was perfect. I will say, however, the Donald J. Pliner inserts that came with the shoe, were not as comfortable as the $10.00 inserts I bought instead. I will say that you won't regret buying this shoe, just keep in mind everyone's foot is different, so if you need to buy different insoles...do it! No harm no foul. This shoe is worth it. Go for it!
These are beautiful boots! The detail on the zipper pull, leather interior, and most of all comfort. It is a snug fit around the instep, which I love. I used a shoe horn to get into them, and they were very easy to remove by my self! They are lightweight, once your feet warm the interior they feel even better! I was surprised the 7½M fit better than the 8M. I usually fit 8M.
Just received these boots today and they are so comfortable right out of the box. Love them! They are quiet to walk around in. I have a high arch, so really need a zipper, so they're great. Usually wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 and the nine worked perfectly with my smartwool hiking socks which I wear with everything. Nice toe room. They do not make my feet look tiny, but that's OK. Way more comfortable than my Frye shorties in almost the same color.
