I love these boots! I get many compliments when I wear them. However they are a little snug around the calf. My calf is not exceptionally wide but there is no way I could wear them with jeans tucked in.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, comfort right out of the box. I will totally order more Pikolinos.

These are super comfortable work shoes. They're dressy enough for business, but they're great for business casual as well. I can wear these all day, and my feet feel fine!

These are very nice boots but they run narrow in the toe box and too loose in the heel. Maybe it is the European sizing that just does not work for me. I wear an 8½ and the sizing here for an 8½ is very snug. If I go up a size, I am afraid that they will be too big. The quality is here and the style is nice but in my opinion, they are odd-fitting.

These are gorgeous and so comfortable. The leather is extremely supple. More supple than most boots that aren't even waterproofed! However, I'm not keeping these because the Cenzia, which I thought was gray, is more of a taupe. I already have taupe boots and if I had unlimited money I'd keep these, but it doesn't make sense.

This is great comfortable shoe if you have wide feet. It looks nice with dress pants.

First, I love Pikolinos! I have 3 different pair and find them well designed and comfy. These Jerez follow suit and I did buy them in black. Great bead work and just wish I could have found them in tan as well. The fit is perfect. If you usually wear a 7 or euro 37, then buy that size. Very cool, edgy/modern classic.

This shoe feels like a glove for your foot--soft, supple letter, perfectly crafted. You aren't going to get a lot of arch support out of this, but that can be aided with an insert. Runs very true to size. I'd love a pair in every color.

This boot is a classy act! It has an urban style and looks and is comfortable. I ordered a 1/2 size larger to allow for thicker winter socks and there is plenty of room. If you wear regular socks, try your regular size. The leather is soft and the bottom is unique. The upper part kind of goes right into the bottom, like a driving shoe. It is hip looking, but it is not a Winter work boot. This is for hanging out. I do not know how waterproof it is but I am happy overall with the unique style and very good quality.

They ran big. The strap is too big and can't be adjusted. They looked cute. Bummed they didn't fit.

This is an amazingly good quality boot, almost certainly because it's made in Spain. You can really see the detailing in these. The leather is beautiful, and the leather under the zipper is perfectly constructed to keep water out. I was right to take the advice of the reviews and order one size up, which fit my foot really well, with plenty of room in the width, too. These are the most comfortable out of all the boots I've tried recently, hands down. The footbed feels amazing, and the lining is warm and cozy. I really wish I could have kept these, but I need to return. My problem was that these almost fit my calves, but I couldn't get the zipper all the way up. I don't think the calf measurement Zappos gives for these is quite accurate because my calves are 15.5 inches around, so they should fit.

My husband bought these boots for me for Christmas. I have to say I am very picky about boots because I have difficult feet to fit! (High arches and bunions, ugh!) These are the most comfortable boot I've worn in a long time. Thanks Zappos!

Other Pikolino ankle boots in my size fit wonderfully, but these were too tight in terms of width (similar to what other reviewers found). They stretch a bit, but I'd have felt uncomfortable tightness after an hour or so of wear. So cute though.

Love these. Very cool looking and very comfortable. I'm usually a 7.5 and though the 38 was a touch large, with thicker socks it was fine. I do a lot of walking in the city and they feel great.

I never write reviews. But this is the best shoe that I had. The leather is so soft and that it does not hurt, even when wearing for the first time. I bought 2 pairs more of Pikolinos shoes. I was so happy to find this brand at Zappos, the only place I buy shoes now due to selection and customer service. The high quality shoes, the best service!

I was very pleased. I put them on and felt like I had worn them forever. I did order a half size larger than my regular size, based on previous reviews and was glad I did. I love them.

Super cute, high quality, and felt like they'd be really cozy. However, I normally wear a 39, and based on previous reviewers' comments, I ordered a 40. Still too small, and since a 41 isn't available, I'll never know have great they would have been. I'm still giving them a 5-star rating, since if you can find a pair that fits, they're gorgeous! Give them a try for sure, IF you can snag a pair at least a size or two bigger than you normally wear.

Love these boots! Super comfortable! They have the slouch feel, but the side zipper makes it so they aren't so bulky and are easy to get on. Definitely recommend!

These are gorgeous boots! They fit perfectly right out of the box. I wear 8½ but got the size 38 and they are fine. They are very easy to get on even with the partial zipper, and fit nicely over skinny jeans with my athletic calves (14"). These are the coolest boots that I have ever had. They are very stylish and could easily be worn with dresses and tights as well.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They were supposed to replace 5 years of Ecco Flexors, which were sadly discontinued a few years ago. Those were as comfortable as expensive sneakers, durable, nice enough for a casual workplace, and rugged enough for snowy sidewalks or a trail in the woods. They were so great I bought 5 pairs. Now I've finally run out. These Pikolinos are almost the same color and seemed stylish enough for most occasions. And even better than the Flexors, they offer a leather insole, which is a big plus. (Note: despite the description of the shoe above, other than the insole, the inner lining is fabric, not leather.) Leather interiors last much longer, and are much easier to keep clean. I hoped I'd like these as much as the Flexors, and if they were comfortable, I was ready to buy spares. My feet are wide, so shoes that don't come in widths are often too narrow. These don't come in widths, but they're European. European shoes (such as Eccos and Borns) always seem to offer more room in the toe box than American sizes, so I hoped the standard width would be okay. Judging from the shape of the sole, they didn't seem narrow. And I tried some other Pikolinos that fit okay, so I gave these a chance. The other Pikolinos I tried were the Seattle. The soles on those were too hard and inflexible. I hoped these would be more comfortable. unfortunately, just as with the Seattles, my feet started hurting almost immediately. The insole offers more padding than the one that comes with the Seattle, but there still is not enough cushion under the feet. And just like the Seattles, cushioning is not the only problem. The rubber soles are too rigid, and don't bend easily. Just look at them -- they're slabs of hard plastic. I realize now my feet were hurting not just for lack of padding, but perhaps even more so because the shoes don't bend as they should and put too much pressure on the wrong parts of my foot. Not only did the Flexors provide much better shock absorption, the soles were much more flexible, and in the right places. The sole used a rigid rubber like that of the Pikolinos, but only in a thin layer where the shoe meets the ground. That was complemented by a much softer rubber under the foot, which provided great cushion and flexibility. The sole of the Pikolinos is made of a hard rubber throughout. Because of this, these Pikolinos are not comfortable, not flexible, and they even make a "clump" noise with every step. These are marketed as comfortable walking shoes. They really aren't. Another strange problem with these shoes: the laces are too short. No matter how you lace them there is not enough left over to tie a double knot. I managed to tie a double knot finally, but it wasn't easy and it looked kind of ridiculous. This is an unfortunate oversight, considering how nice it looks to have laces that perfectly match the color of the shoes. I notice the newer model of these shoes has fewer eyelets -- I'll bet the laces in those shoes will work fine. I was ready to buy spares If I liked them. Instead I'm still looking.

My feet started hurting almost immediately after wearing these the first time. It got worse over the course of day, until I couldn't wait to take these shoes off when I got back home. These shoes don't offer enough cushion under the feet. I tried to remediate this with some soft gel insoles, which helped a little. But cushioning is not the only problem. The rubber soles are too rigid, and don't bend easily. And where they do bend doesn't seem to be in an optimal location. Wearing these a second day, with the additional insoles, I came to realize my feet were hurting was because the shoes were putting too much pressure on the wrong parts of my foot. Not only did the Flexors provide much better shock absorption, the soles were much more flexible, and in the right places. The sole used a rigid rubber like that of the Pikolinos, but only in a thin layer where the shoe meets the ground. Because of this, these Pikolinos are not comfortable, not flexible, and they even make a "clump" noise with every step. Too bad. I was ready to get the ankle-boot version of these shoes, and spares. Not any more.
