Absolutely love this bag. Roomy, stylish, and comfortable. I bought the mustard trim and the vachetta leather wallet to match the trim. It is stunning. My sister saw it and stated it is the only handbag I have (and I have many Coach, Dooney, B Makowsky, etc.) that she is envious of. Zappos is great, they had it at my door the very next day! I have been shopping with them ever since.

This is a really beautiful bag, that's a perfect size for everyday toting. (Not big enough for notepads or scores, but spacious enough for everything else you need to carry around.) The leather quality is superb, too. I saw it at Macy's, but they only had one that was on display, so I ordered one from Zappos. And, of course, Zappos shipped it so fast! I got this as a gift for my aunt, but I would buy one for myself sometime soon.

I was wondering about the size when I was debating whether to buy. But when I got it I saw that it was actually bigger and held more than the description advised. It can hold a lot; think all the norms plus a magazine, small book and a few more items and organizers. I have a lot in it and it could still close. It feels and looks amazing. It's a great purse. I get compliments, but really it's just really great if you have a lot of stuff you want to take around every day. But because it's so sturdy you don't have to fill it up for it to keep its shape. My only issue was being able to comfortably get into the inside pockets, but I know that its generally not something found on these purses, and that's fine by me!

Classic, cute and well-made. Love it! This is the first D&B bag I have purchased. I thought the D&B styling might be a little too classic for my taste, but something about this Sport Duck print caught my eye as fun and unique. This bag is very well made and just the right size for a daily carry-all bag. The interior lining, the zipper and even the little leather tassels on the sides are sturdy and flawless. A great value for the price, as compared to other fabric bags in this price range I have purchased.

This Dooney & Bourke bag is a great bag. It is very comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. It's easy to locate items in the bag due to the bright lining. The care is very easy. My advice is to just gently wipe with a damp cloth. This bag is so cute and practical. I would recommend very highly.

This bag is fabulous! I got it in dark brown & it's a rich chocolate color. The pebbled leather is much more supple than Dooney's All-Weather Leather. The shoulder drop on the straps is long enough is wear over a heavy winter coat. This is a great everyday bag, plenty of room for all my stuff, and it's not too heavy even when loaded up. Some people might not like the closure; you have to buckle & unbuckle it, it's not a magnetic closure. But I like the security of having a buckled strap over the opening. Overall, I love this bag and would recommend it highly. Also, can't say enough good things about Zappos. Ease of ordering, amazing selection and fast, free delivery are great!

Love this bag! Ordered it in the Bordeaux color and have gotten many compliments on it already. Have several other D & B bags, but this has now become my personal favorite. Beautiful leather and construction. Know this one will last for years.

Great! That's all I can say about the items I purchased. I purchased two Dooney & Bourke handbags and two checkbook organizers. The first I purchased as a gift for my granddaughter and after seeing the quality and the fast delivery I purchased another for myself. Love this bag. I ordered it in brown tmoro. I had a hard time deciding which Dooney. All the Zappos reviews on this bag were correct: beautiful, exceptional quality, gorgeous leather, etc. Very pleased! And Zappos customer service is beyond compare. I ordered my bag Monday afternoon; it was on my doorstep Tuesday morning. Amazing! Also, Zappos really cares that your product is delivered in perfect condition. I was very impressed by how well my bag was packaged. Excellent company, my number one favorite Internet retailer!

This is a great little bag. The price is what I could get it for elsewhere, but paying no shipping and handling is always great. The delivery was very fast! This is a great bag for teens or for quick trips when you do not want to carry a big bag.

I ordered this in cognac, which ended up being a lovely rich shade that goes with basically everything, summer or winter (it's also a reasonably good match to Frye's lt tan color, if you want matchy-matchy bag and boots). This tote is just the right width and height for my laptop in its case, and the snaps on the side even help hold it upright, with plenty of room left over for a book, thermos, umbrella and assorted other necessities. For a large bag it's a manageable size, and the leather is very soft. The branding is nicely discreet, with just the embossed name and a cute duck hang tag, and the construction is good. This bag has a lot of bang for the buck quality, style, and price.

This is a great bag. I recently purchased this bag in saddle and cognac. I love the spaciousness and comfort of the strap. The strap can be made long or short and even cross body. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a medium bag. The leather is so soft. I am considering getting another color.

I've always used small "crossbody" bags because (A) I can't abide the look of women carting large bags & totes, no matter how expensive or trendy: it always looks like our gender just can't face life without overflowing buckets of possessions glued to their sides; a most unattractive archetype, & the source of endless jokes. And (B) with small 'CB' bags one keeps to the essentials; transports them safely; & is hands-free: an unbeatable trio! Yet elegant versions are very hard to find. Hence D&B has revived RL/Polo's unique tartan canvas-&-leather pairing of 30 years ago, while changing & updating much, & adding several great CB shapes & colorways. Pointers: Don't be put off by the description here of this bag's beyond-minimalist interior, however, for it's really not so. This actually holds 2 checkbooks, wallet, credit card case, sunglasses, cell, lip balm, pill box, keys & sunglasses; everything neat & highly organized without the sides bulging at all! Indeed: room's even left over for an iPod or purse-size hairbrush if you "must". Also key is that the drop is actually 26" on lowest notch, not 23 1/2", enabling this bag to hang below the hip even with a heavy coat on, making access a breeze. Too, unlike the 3-Zip version, this one is flat bottomed, so it sits rather than needing to be laid down when off the body. And if you're put off by wearing company logos (I am), D&B's is ideally small & discreet; or you can reverse the bag & hide its tiny presence entirely, & the bag still looks great! In short, this is a superb bag that'll fly off the shelves in the coming weeks of Christmastide, yet it's made for, & looks appropriate within, virtually any time of year. Elegant, lovely, tailored, small yet ample: it makes life so much simpler & easier. Unbeatable at any price, yet very reasonable: thank you, Dooney & Zappos!

This is the perfect purse for me! Very sturdy. Stands up, always at the ready. I prefer one big inside compartment but this one has two. However, with the sturdy build of this purse the center zip compartment does not sag and get in the way so it is fine. Useful pockets inside for cell, keys, lipstick that don't get in the way. I got the black fabric with brown trim so I can use with black outfits or brown. Very pleased with this purchase. And of course, Zappos is wonderful!

This is my favorite bag lately. The length of the straps makes it easy to carry the bag on my shoulder. The bag is the right size for me. A book and water bottle fit easily inside the bag, and because it has a single magnetic snap closure it\'s easy to reach in and get what I need. The zippered pocket is great for small items, and the cell phone pocket is also easy to access. I find myself using this bag often. I like its casual look.

I read the reviews before selecting the style and size. All the input was great and accurate. The medium is quite large, the leather loosens quickly, the front outside pockets are perfect, the shoulder strap is the perfect length. The palomino color is fairly intense but goes with just about everything I own, the autumn color palette. I'd buy this purse in another color without question.

I absolutely love Dooney! This is a great bag, made well as always and lots of style. The bag has lots of room, but I really don't care for the sewn in center compartment down the middle. I prefer an open bag where I can see everything. This divider has me searching on both sides every time I reach in for something. But I really like the stripes so I will keep it.

Very nice, classic bag. Just what I was looking for! I got it in the bordeaux, which is a lovely color, not too purple nor too brown. It's a great size and I prefer the magnetic closure so I can get in and out of it easily while shopping or driving. I love the center zip section to keep my wallet secure. One thing about Dooney bags, I do wish they had more pockets. The other thing I would change about this bag is the handles, they are rather thin. Overall, I'm pleased with this bag and know I will have it for years.

I bought this purse on Zappos on thanksgiving morning and i couldnt believe i recieved it before noon on black friday.let me say i love dooney & bourke anyway,but this purse i have been wanting every since i firt saw it.i got it in the bubblegum(pink) and love,love,love it!!! now i have to get all the accessories to go with.in my opinion you can not go wrong with this purse.it is perfect size(not too big or small).colors will go with anything.i was actually thinking of going to a different brand for a change but after looking around i could not find anything that compared to this purse(or anything from dooney).in my opinion you can not go wrong with this purse.

A bag hasn't made me this happy in a long time. The nylon Juliette satchel is the perfect size for commuting to work on the subway. It's large enough to hold an extra pair of shoes, a large water bottle, a hardcover book, digital camera, or sweater (maybe not all at once, but still). The opening is wide enough that I can even slip my laptop (a 13" MacBook) inside. And, unlike bulkier handbags that hold their shape no matter what's inside, when I'm only carrying the essentials (wallet, phone, iPod, keys, magazine or paperback), it slims down and hugs my hip comfortably. Though smaller items can often get lost inside single-compartment bags, this one's hot pink interior makes it easy to find lip gloss or sunglasses, even if they've shifted to the bottom. The fact that the long shoulder strap is not detachable almost deterred me from getting this one, but I'm glad to have the strap sewn securely into the bag. When I have carried my laptop in it, I don't worry about the weight bearing down on clips or hooks because the strap is attached. I shorten the shoulder strap all the way when I'm carrying it by the leather handles so that the strap doesn't drag. I like the slouchy, carefree, yet clean and polished look of the unfussy nylon with leather and gold trim and hardware.There is one zippered pocket and one slip-in pocket (just barely wide enough for an iPod inside a case) on the inside, as well as a leather strap with a clip for keys. The one thing I would change about the bag would be to add one more interior pocket. I also wish it had feet on the bottom, but the nylon makes it easy to brush or wipe it off, and I never want to put it down anyway!

I bought this bag and it is super cute; however, the size is much bigger than it appears in the picture. It is way bigger than an average hobo, so if you want a bigger bag, then this one is for you. I am returning it for a smaller Dooney.

Fits the Bill! I bought this in Navy for an upcoming trip to Ireland and Scotland. I wanted a tartan crossbody bag with a zip-top closure and this one will be perfect! The material is thick and sturdy and the opening wide enough, unlike some other small bags. There's also plenty of inside pockets for organizing. It's a very well-made, smart-looking purse for the money. The only thing I would change is having brown suede trim with a black strap; doesn't make sense to me. To me, it at least looks better with the darker navy than the other two colors. Overall, I'm very happy with this purse, however. Very good value for the money.

This D & B with the duck pattern fabric and leather trim is so adorable and also very well constructed. It is roomy & the details really make this bag special, no other design out there like this. The attached duck on the front looks like agate due to the marbling effect. This is a "must-have", especially in the "plum-purple" shade.
