A hair before the turn of the century, Cassel Goorin, a consummate hatmaker, peddled fedoras, top hats, derbies, and the like off a horse cart in the streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a result of Cassel’s artistry and craftsmanship, he incorporated a company that has passed the tradition of hatmaking from one brother to another. That company is Goorin Bros. - bold hatmakers since 1895.
The legacy born out of Cassel's keen attention to detail flourishes in three current hat lines: Goorin Core, Cassel Goorin, and 1333 Minna. Love, love, love this hat. Although when it came, I didn't know how to crease the top. Once I figured out how to wear it (the Goorin tags should be slightly off to one side, the bow on the outside should be right above the ear) it is my favorite hat! The off-symmetry is amazing, and the fact that I was able to order an XL for my crazy brain is fantastic as always. TIP: Goorin (or any millinery) will spray it for you to make it water-resistant
I appreciate the style and quality of this hat. The size runs true. I only wish it came in other colors, including a true red.
This sems well made. XL Could be just a skosh bigger for me, but that is my head shape. It is lined and a very good looking halo style.
After looking at this hat for a few weeks, I finally decided to buy it. I am very pleased with it. The hat itself is a little bit more thick than I thought it would be, but it is incredibly comfortable and looks great! The blue in the hat is not as vibrant as the picture, but it looks great.
We love Zappos products and service! My son really likes the hat. It is very unique and very well made. I bought the wrong size for my son and had to exchange it. Zappos return/exchange process is stress free! Even better, I notified them of the issue on Christmas Day after my son open his present and we had a new one by the end of the week with no cost to me! Great hat! Sits nicely on the head and my hubby loves it. Keep in mind that there are no back adjustments; just elastic. We got a medium and it was fine. The visor is shaped great. Didn't need much tweaking. I wish there were other colors! Have fun!
I purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas. The order got to me before the estimated delivery time! The hat fits great but the bill is smalled than I thought it would be but over all an awesome hat!

Great hat! Fit is so perfect we had to order a second hat for my husband. I definitely recommend it.
This is the second one I purchased for my son (Christmas). The last one lasted him more than 7 years; wearing it at least three day a week. The only reason i had to replace it is because he does not take good care of it when not wearing it. The cap is a good buy and made of good quality.
It is a cool hat with a great fit. I've had other similar hats that always fit tight and ended up giving me a headache. I do think it’s a little pricey for a knit hat; otherwise I'm satisfied with it.
The hat was what it looked like. What really impressed me was the return policy. The hat I ordered was too big, so I returned it (free of charge) and got a new hat in only three days.

This a pretty sweet hat. I got mine for golf but wear it all over the place now. It's very low key and casual and doesn't make you look like a walking billboard. The best part is that it is very comfortable. The band that goes around your head is elastic so you are able to pull on the bill of the cap and stretch it away from your head when you are wearing it. It fits just snug enough to stay on. The brim is nice and large and keeps the sun out of your eyes.
Goorin Bros. "Devin Dempsey" is one of the coolest hats I own. The fabric is soft but also keeps my head warm. Loved the first one so much i ordered a 2nd for "just in case". Great little addition is the strip of fabric on the back that matches the fabric under the bill! Great hat... Goorin Bros. make serious hats for hat lovers...thank you Zappos.
I love this Halo-style Ivy. It's gonna get another in a different color and if you're thinking about getting a Goorin Hat go ahead. You won't regret it.
