Nice looking shoe, but quality seems a little lacking. I had to buy insoles because the right shoe's right side was about a quarter inch higher than the left side and was digging into my ankle. The left shoe was fine. Also, the sole lining inside the shoe has a glued seam. The right shoe's seam was already unglued when I opened them. Disappointing considering the price paid. Look nice though.
I am returning the item because it is really not nice enough to wear with nice suits in my opinion. It is more causal than the pictures lead you to believe.
Was looking for a nice business casual shoe at a moderate price. This fit the bill. Very happy with the product.
I was really surprised how poorly made these shoes were. After my husband wore them twice, they are falling apart. The black finish is flaking off and the heels are peeling.

My husband bought a pair of these shoes, and within an hour of walking around in them, the outer shell (I am not sure it is leather, so I am not sure what to call it) started to peel, and flake away at the creases. Extremely disappointing. The shoes were the right width and size, and the style is nice, but the quality is appalling.
This is the third pair of the same shoe I purchased. I have to agree with the sentiment of other buyers that the quality went down. I don't know whether it is due to the country of origin (Italy vs. India) but the latest pair does not feel as comfortable as the two before. This will be most likely my last Bostonian Tuscana.
Received shoes - but while tying heard rip and had to return. Only to find out out of my size - ugh! Easy return - reimbursement etc.
I love the comfort and classic styling of the Bostonian Tuscana. Great vibrant brown leather with beautiful toe cap. Awesome sturdy rubber sole and very nice padding. Classic and comfort, you can't beat it.
Gave these shoes in the burgundy color to my 88 year old father for Christmas. He used to love a similar looking shoe from Florsheim which is almost impossible to get anymore. He likes these shoes even better -- fit right away, no break in required, and they have a very lightweight sole.
This was the third pair of Bostonian Dennison shoes I have owned and the first I purchased via Zappos. The shoes looked and fit good. I am completely satisfied with the shoes and with Zappos.
Okay, so I'm reviewing these on behalf of my spouse who finds these are the only kidskin-lined, leather soled dress shoes that keep him comfortable throughout his 10 hour work days. (Yup, the four 10-hour days workweek has its drawbacks, but thanks to these shoes, hot, tired feet aren't one of them!)

The shoes were exactly as they looked, they ran true to size and the quality was excellent. Zappos delivered on time even during the Christmas madness. The ordering process was smooth and website easy to navigate. I have ordered before and will order again.

I like them. Good Fit. Felt true to size for dress shoes. I highlight that because my dress shoes, slip on's are 1/2 size smaller then my gym shoes, etc. Buy the size dress shoe that you regularly wear.
I have been wearing these shoes for close to two decades. They have been offered under the names French Shriner and Florsheim, and now Bostonian. They are well constructed, long lasting and very light in weight. They are trim and attractive. They remind me of wearing comfortable slippers. The only negative is traction. You need to be careful when walking on very smooth or slippery surfaces.
Great shoe out of the box. No worries about breaking these in, they were so comfortable right from the start. Good casual business dress shoe.
Overall the shoes are a good quality. However, I was disappointed, because I expected to receive a factory sealed finished product. One shoe had a minor leather fuzz and the shoe box have seen better daysThe tissue paper was also torn. After all this was a gift item and I expected to receive something more pristine.
I bought a pair of these in brown for my boyfriend for Christmas 2010. He liked them so much that when his black shoes gave out, I got him another pair in black. These look nice with khakis or slacks for work. Professional but not too dressy. My BF says they're really comfy. He wears one of the two pairs every day and has no complaints.
Loved the shoe, but was disappointed in how quickly it wore out. In less than a year and a half it pretty much lost all of its arch support and the insoles detached. I walk a few miles in these every workday and they were comfortably snug while they lasted, but now they just cause back pain.
