Great boot! At this point I have a number of boots that I would consider really good boots. Aldens, Timberland Boot Company, Frye, Redwing, Ted Baker, John V., Allen Edmonds and these I say are just a good or better than the rest. Great feel and stylish after work. I got these for the dress down Fridays at the office but they found their way into the middle of the week too. I would recommend this boot to anyone.
This item runs one size small, typical for a UK label. Really nice soft fabric, well-made. Much nicer than a typical hoodie made like a sweatshirt.
One True Saxon crafts incredibly stylish shoes that'll do anyone proud, especially when you're looking for something to kick around a sophisticated city like London, NY, or SF. These are some of the best-looking chelsea boots I've ever seen. That being said: I sent 'em back. The fit is odd: the shoes are both too long, and too narrow. I ordered an 8 (my size) and my heel flopped around inside the boot, un-anchored. At the same time, there was a constricting band across the top of my foot and down the sides. So, if you have long, skinny-to-normal feet, I imagine you'll love 'em.
These are fantastic shoes for a fantastic price. I am a bit of a shoe nerd and love high quality oxfords, these are some of the nicest shoes for the price that I have ever purchased.
Excellent shoes. Very light and not very high and slightly high like I wanted. Very stylish, I wear size 12 and I ordered 12.
Great, beautiful boots with fine craftsmanship. I've been breaking them in for about a week, but all indications are that it will be worth it. The leather was very stiff initially but it's loosening up. I've gotten a number of compliments on them already (which is always nice). Does run small, though.
Excellent shoe. I couldn't be happier with my new purchase. A great value for a super durable, good year welted dress boot. Awesome details like the red, white and blue stitching on the shoe and strap. I ripped out the factory insole and put some Dr. Scholls Work insoles in for a slightly tighter fit and better arch support, since I will be wearing these daily as my new work boots. I can't wait to break these in.
Great rock solid and unique boots. Breaking them in took a while and was rough but now I wear them every day.
Much to the dislike of my wife, I have a large boot collection. This is my new favorite. Classy and extremely unique. High quality craftsmanship. And you'd be hard pressed to find anyone else wearing these boots. They're true to size and take a couple of days to break in (don't worry, the pain goes away). I love these boots.
Size ran small.Usually wear an 11-11 1/2 in a boot. Gonna try a size 12.Great looking, heavy duty boot though.
I ordered the Bekermann and they arrived as promised two days later. The shoes are well-represented by the site and they are exactly what I was looking for; leather dress shoes with an aggressive tread. I live in the Northeast and was looking for shoes that I can wear with dress pants and make it through the winter months. These shoes are substantial with the Goodyear welt sole and stacked wooden heel. I had ordered a ToBoot Bryant prior to this (but I returned them due to sizing) and I can say the Bryant is not in the same league with these shoes. I should note that the tongue is held in place on both sides by an elastic band and the heel is oddly notched through the rubber and wood construction. It does not appear though the notch will affect performance in any way; appears more a brand stamp so to speak. I found the shoes true to size and they arrived with a shoe horn which given that the tongue is held by elastic and the initial stiffness of the leather I found useful. More than likely with wear and break-in this will be a non-issue. Given how these shoes look in terms of quality construction/materials and feels I have high expectations for wearing them for years to come. They also look as though I will be able to re-sole the shoes locally.
