Bridgedale Reviews
These are excellent socks! However, one came with threads across the inner surface where the weaving had obviously gone wrong. When I put my foot in the sock, it would be tangled in these threads. If I had bought a single pack, I'd have returned it, but since I bought a 3-pack, I cut the threads and just hope they will not unravel.

These socks fit well and are very comfortable. I walk three to five miles most days and did not have any problems with these stretching out as I did with some others. They might be a little pricey relative to some cheaper brands, but they are worth it. I wash them out by hand in Woolite and hang up to dry.

I love these socks! I had given up hope of ever finding socks to fit my small feet without the heels up on my ankles, but these fit perfectly. They are just right for cushioning and thickness to use with my favorite hiking shoes. Finally - socks that fit and are completely comfortable!

I never thought that I'd become excited about a pair of socks but Bridgedale rocks! Great for hiking comfort or the casual office day. They've become my first sock of choice. I plan to buy more.

My pet peeve is expensive socks that claim to be my size and then the heel inevitably ends up at my ankle. Never the case with Bridgedale. Seriously, their socks are always comfortable and always fit my feet. Great socks! And thank you to Zappos for taking back the non-fitting socks.
I have been wearing Bridgedale Socks for several years, and would not change for any other. I have arthritis in my feet and ankles, and socks, as well as shoes, are vitally important to my comfort level. These particular socks wisk away moisture beautifuly, and have the right amount of support in areas where I need it. They also are wonderfully soft and comfortable. I am a die hard fan of this company!
This is the first time purchase of this brand. I was looking for the beige color and the choices were limited. I am very happy with this purchase.

I ordered these hoping for a lightweight wool running/trail sock. Instead the first listed fabric is nylon. They felt very "plasticy" and I am returning them for another brand.

These are great winter dress socks for cold ball games, work place, outside activities. I wear them inside with Birkenstocks; outside shopping in below zero temps; sitting in cold gyms watching kids.
These socks are like little heaters! I bought them to wear during the winter down here in Texas (low temps are usually in the 20's where we are so not extremely cold). We don't like to run the heater too much so we keep the thermostat pretty low. If I wear these socks in the house, I usually start burning up and usually end up having to kick them off. Wore them outside at night (under cowboy boots which really offer no insulation) and they were fine. My toes got a little chilly but that's all. I love them!

I ordered these when I ordered my new Birkenstocks for work (I'm a nurse). So, I wanted something a little more heavy, without being too hot. These do the job! They aren't the most attractive socks, but hey! They're socks! They are very supportive. I wear a size 10 shoe and would say they fit very well to even a little bit big.

I have used other styles of Bridgedale socks for cycling for several years and they are my favorites. These socks also seem to fit, wick, and breathe very well. I have only had these socks for a couple months, so I don't know about their durability, but if my past experience with Bridgedale socks is any indication, these should last for years.

This sock is a decent alternative to SmartWools (my favorite). They seem warm, of good quality, did not shrink in the wash, and although they do not have the little tab at the back of the ankle like SmartWools, they do not not slip down. My only complaint is that they do not seem as wicking as SmartWools, and the sizing is a bit odd, which will probably leave the majority of wearers with socks that are just a tad snug or a tad loose. Overall, a pretty good wool sock though.

Unsurpassed moisture management, soft cushy comfort and fit, and guaranteed durability are the watchwords for
