SOLE Reviews

Personally, I can tell absolutely no difference in the feel of these insoles from before to after the heating process. I tried the process twice. I have fairly high arches but the arch of the insole feels too hard, too high and too far back toward the heel. Yes, I ordered correct size and made sure the length was right for the shoe. I have since tried two other brands of heat moldable insoles with much better results. Montrail's Enduro-Soles are good but are only comfortable for me in a well cushioned shoe like a running shoe. They do elevate the heel a bit so they may not work well in lower ankle cut styles. (works well in my Asics Gel Aztec). The other insole I've just started using is the Sofsole Brand, which actually look very similar to these Sole insoles. The heating and break-in process produces a better result in my opinion and they have a slightly softer, less rigid feel to them. The heel is not a elevated as the Montrails but the forefoot has slightly less lateral flex, which is better for my plantar-fasciitis symptoms. Not trying to steer anyone away from the Sole insoles but this is just my experience. Your results may certainly vary. Good luck.
The arch support begins too close to the heel causing bruising and pain. I suppose this varies with the shape of one person's foot to the next; however, it is important to note that one size does not fit all.

I used to love Super Feet, but I found their arch support lacking. I immediately felt these correcting my right foot's collapsing arch. The pressure was evenly distributed. I have used more aggressive supports in the past that were just blister-making machines. The heel cup is deep so I do not feel like it will allow my foot to bulge over and result in slicing. I am very happy and believe I am a convert. I just wish the price was lower. I would probably by a ton more. The carrying case these came with looked like it was more wizz-bang than the insoles. Worry about the product, not the packaging. Lower the price.
I have had plantar fasciitis in both feet for years. These work better for me than any of the custom inserts I've had made and fit into almost any shoe. I also use the thicker version of this product, made for athletic shoes and I very happy with them too.
I have tried other insoles, but continue to buy soles over others. My feet are picky and I like the arches in the soles.
I bought this for my 12 year old son and he loves them. He uses them in soccer and since has stopped complaining about his heel. It maybe a snug fit, though.
I love my sole sport slides. I have been having foot problems in the metatarsal area. My doctor recommended I get some to wear around the house like house shoes. I love them. They mold to your foot and arch.
I regret that I have to report some negative views of this product. I should say first, though, that the arch support has been incredibly helpful for my plantar fasciitis, and that these flip flops are pretty comfortable in that regard. They are also pretty good looking. However, if you get them wet at all the leather "insole" becomes incredibly - and surprisingly - slippery making them virtually impossible to walk in. I bought them for many uses, including walking my dogs...often through dewy park grass in the mornings, as well as beach vacations. When they get wet, I find my feet slipping and sliding all over to the point that I simply cannot keep them on my feet. Also, while they arrived pretty true to size, after the straps got wet once they stretched significantly, which also makes them very hard to keep on my feet once the insoles get wet. If you have no intention of ever getting them wet, they may serve you well. But, for the price, these turned out to be an incredible disappointment, unfortunately. Think I'm going to go back to my ol' reliable Reefs if the make a version with arch support.

These Sole inserts provide excellent comfort. They are third shoe insert I have ever tried and by far the best.
I have been using Sole Softec Ultra insoles for many years and love them! I have totally flat feet and these allow me to get through my day without pain!

I used these insoles in a pair of La Sportiva Glacier boots and went on backpack trips and mountain scrambles this past summer. They worked great. Just follow directions about forming to feet by putting in oven beforehand. I had to trim the smaller toes part first for my boots.
I have not worn a flip flop for years and years because of my high arches. If you have high arches and wear an orthotic for that reason, these sandals will send you to heaven! The arch support is equal to a Birkenstock, but these are lighter in weight and wearability. I am so happy that I have these shoes, I've spent the better part of my summer in them, even walking miles in them.
I love these flip-flops. The only problem is that I guess my feet are a little thick (from the sole to the top) and the shoe seems short in this dimension! As the sole is conforming to my foot, this problem is getting better. It is a shame though, because otherwise, these are amazingly comfortable!
These flops are cool, but took a while to break in. I have small sores on the tops of my feet from them. I wouldnt pay that much for them again.
I like these sandals, but I wish they came in half sizes. I could really have worn an 8½ instead of a 9.
These are super comfortable and supportive! I have plantar fasciitis and have been suffering with my favorite Sanuk sandals because it is summer, I live in Southern California and I do not want to wear shoes when it is sunny at the park or the beach! So, thank heavens for Sole and their supportive sandals. My painful heal and my flat feet are happy once again.
These are amazing insoles. Been dealing with some plantar fasciitis and was getting frustrated because I couldn't seem to walk without a limp due to the pain. As soon I did the custom heat molding and slipped them into my Salomon 3Ds, they make those shoes feel like a brand new pair! I can't explain how great they feel, so cushiony and now I can walk without a limp. So stoked!
I purchased the brown and black in size 9. While the length of the shoes were perfect, the straps were so incredibly tight that it hurt my feet. I do not have wide feet so I am not sure why they were that tight?! Both are going back today.
I purchased these as an alternatives to my Chacos, which I loved but have had a couple of pairs over the last 6 years and was seeking something different. I do like the supportive structure of this footbed; however, the straps rub on the side of my foot. Also, the rust-colored design on the footbed doesn't add much except an impression that the footbed is dirty. I also think these are a bit masculine compared to other flips. I would consider another pair of SOLEs, but I wish I had worn this particular style around the house more before walking outside so I could return them.

Comfortable footbed and comfortable toe strap. Arch and metatarsal support are excellent. Beautiful champagne color. I had to send the size 6 back and order a size 7, even though I normally wear a 6 to 6 1/2. If you are a true small size 6 then order a size 6, but if you are a 6 to 6 1/2 then order a 7. The label on the size 7 shoe indicates it is a European size 37 which is a 6 1/2 to 7. This shoe is about 1/2 size smaller than marked.
I have flat feet and SOLE flip flops are thus far the best summer time alternative to wearing shoes with orthotics. I have worn them for a couple years and intend to keep on wearing them during the summer months.
