Bertucci Reviews
Bought this watch for my son in the Army, he loves the military time, also the band. It also fits nicely under his ACU.
Absolutely love this watch. Light. Nice fit. Very solid feel, especially the band. Love the actual eyelet holes (not just punches in the strap). Only way I'd like it more is with 1 additional feature: add the tritium things so it can be read in the dark. I'd say also add the date, but I worry that might throw off the simplicity, which I like (also, I got it in black with olive drab strap...they don't appear to carry this config any more).
Rugged and very comfortable. Works well with my rather small wrist. I've worn field watches for years, and this is my favorite. I especially like the screw-down crown.
I love this watch. I actually wish they made a female version. I got it for my son's birthday, and he loves it too. Nice simple style, easy read face, and you can read it in the dark. Simple and very good looking.
This is a great watch- but one piece of advice... when you set the watch make sure to push the knob ALL THE WAY IN when you're done. Even if you don't have to set it- PUSH THE KNOB. Otherwise it's not waterproof.
Very pleased with this watch so far, only downside; no illuminated numbers. Love the band, appreciate the offset screw down crown.

Great watch. The case is heavy-duty and designed so the the crystal is below the surface plane, protecting it further from scratching. The nylon strap is easy to remove, wash out odors, and it dries quickly...plus it gets even more flexible and comfortable to wear. The push-button, glowing face illuminates enough to see objects in a dark tent.
Love the watch! Can dress it up or down. So far it is very comfortable.
I own one other Bertucci and am familiar with their high quality. The nylon band on the Ventara puts up with the sweat associated with the summer better than a leather band. I enjoy its classic looks and the offset stem is interesting.
Watch looks great but was losing 1 second per day. For a Swiss quartz watch that costs this much dollars that is unacceptable. Returned it.
Overall, a great watch for the price. It's durable, the band is durable, and the company is located in IL. If any parts are needed, I can contact them directly. If the band breaks, it can be replaced at a reasonable rate. In fact, I switched the band out for $35 total (includes tax and shipping). The Bertucci A-4T face is a bit different than the Bertucci A-4T Vintage 44. The A-4T face glass is lowered (lip/ring)where the 44 glass is flush (no lip/ring). Also, the 44 is a brighter look to the digits and glows a lot longer in the dark. Aside from that, I didn't notice a ton of differences. I like the flush glass on the face of the 44 a lot, but I'm cheap and saved the money (after new watch band purchase). All in all, great company and a great watch. Very casual look to it, but at the same time can be dressy.
Great watch. Military dial is very visible on the face. A little small for my wrist so I went with the A-4T. I love these Bertucci watches, though.
I really like the watch face, but the strap needs to be improved. For the overall price and elegance of the watch, the strap is not.
I've been wearing this watch for over a year now and still love it. The band is getting a little dirty now, so I'm thinking about replacing the band. I love the fact that the rods that hold the band onto the watch are extremely solid. I also like the wide band.
I returned 2 Bertuccis at Zappos until I finally stuck with this one. Great classic military style. Swiss movement keeps great time. I really like this watch. For a basic military watch it is a little pricey but I think you're getting what you pay for with this watch. I really like it.
Having already purchased a Bertucci for hubby and solely based on its solid titanium bar (no pins), he convinced me that I needed one too. We both work in a physically demanding environment, and I must say for the money and the styling, this is a great watch. I love the steel/slate face and EL light. It's not a high fashion dress watch which is the only reason I put 4 stars on the style but I plan to wear it everywhere. Very satisfied customer.
Overall, I give it a 3.4 of 5. The red military numbers on the face of the watch are tiny and you have to look very closely (barely visible from your wrist). The titanium case is very light and strong so that's a plus. The date window is small. The ticks on the face of the watch barely glow in the dark. I have a $50 Timex camper that glows much stronger than this watch. It has a pretty solid crystal. Aesthetically, the styling is super-cool. They make a big deal out of the band that comes with it, but it's just a band. Overall I'd like to see a little more from this watch. The bottom line is you're paying for a very strong, lightweight titanium case.
Perfect for me. Light weight, rugged, no frills, easy to read dial with more traditional style. Great strap. So far very accurate. Have not reset.
Great watches - better company. The watch fits great, looks great and is very comfortable. I had a small issue with my nylon band and called the company about it. Within a week I had a new one - no cost - and they were very friendly and great to work with. I would recommend these watches to anyone who wants to wear a durable watch and support a great company.
