About G-Shock

Two engineers, with a vision to create the ultimate watch which would then become the G-Shock, assembled a rogue team and named their mission, “Project Tough.” Through perseverance and unusual testing methods, such as throwing prototypes out the second floor bathroom window to the asphalt below, they developed the first G-Shock watch in 1983. This watch was able to withstand their then benchmark of “Triple Ten” criteria, namely 10 years of usage, 10 atmospheres (water resistance) and a 10m fall (shock resistance).

I got the all black style with only the hands white/silver for my boyfriend for Christmas. It's a great-looking watch! He wears it every day and even with dress clothes for work. He has bigger hands and a bigger wrist/arm so it looks good for its size.
This watch is awesome. For guys it is a chick magnet. Also, for guys it makes you look pimp!
The watch is nice looking and has nice features. A bit bulky though. Setting the time and date was difficult. The manual is 2" by 1" in size - very hard to read (too small).
Why is this watch so expensive on Zappos? It was originally selling for much less. How can Zappos do this?
I bought this watch for my sister for Christmas. She is a physical therapist and originally wanted an Ironman for it's timer, etc... I thought I'd surprise her with the Baby-G since it had exactly what she needed with a little oomph. I was nervous as it is a little more watch than she has been used to....but she loves it! She says nothing but good things about it and her patients even compliment her on it! I'm going to get myself one in a different color!
Love this watch. I run every day, and this watch is so lightweight, and stylish. Also, waterproof which is a plus. Perfect size.
This watch is great! It is durable, water proof, and easy to clean... something they would probably sell at the Death Star PX. I wear it hiking, to work, and at home, so it has become my everyday watch. Sometimes this model can be cheaper on other Web sites, but you can't match Zappos' standard shipping speed unless you upgrade the shipping big time- so go with Zappos.
I bought this as a gift for my sister who is a nurse and she loved it. Perfect for work: water resistant, and has digital second display. At the same time it is a cute and stylish watch.
I have a 6.9" wrist. Even though this is a large watch, it wears well on the wrist and doesn't look out of place on mine. It's a tough watch, I've dropped it on the ground several times to show my friends the durability. If you know G-Shocks, this isn't a surprise. Digital screens are hard to read in the dark, the illumination only helps with the analog hands due to there only being one light at the 6 o'clock position (not backlit like only digital watches). The watch is extremely light: can barely notice it on the wrist.
This is a great watch. It has replaced my other 'sporty' and 'work' watches as my daily go-to watch. As a bonus, it gets lots of positive attention from colleagues, friends, etc.
Zappos had the watch I wanted as a gift. The price was reasonable and the shipping free and quick.

This watch is the best thing that was ever made. I dropped this baby like 200000 times and it still is working; the time is good, the battery like never dies out. The light at the bottom is amazing. Honest, I love this watch a lot. It gets you all dem ladies. Just the white and purple is so cool; this watch is the best thing ever made. The best part about it is that it tells you what time it is. I went scuba diving with it and it still worked. I was like so far down this is amazing. It has a daylight savings button that you press and it sets it an hour ahead it doesn't take you like 23451245 hours to set your watch back. All you gotta do is like hold down the button and go to DSL and press on and it works! Is beast and totally worth the money. But sadly I lost mine or someone stole it and I'm pissed and sad as hell.
Great timepiece for the price. Have been looking for a G-shock for some time and am happy with this one. I run about 15-20 miles per week and this watch fits the bill. I am a smaller (5'4") person and face of watch is a little big but can live with it.
This watch is terrific, even with this being my first G-Shock watch, I have nothing but positive reviews. With the many different options like timers, stopwatches, three different alarms, even the function for automatic light-up by simply looking at the watch! It is very durable and virtually indestructible. The size increase and the comfort is also a plus. No complaints and no regrets.
I love this watch, the actual number display is bigger and more visible then other 6900 in its class, the moon and tide graph is awesome to have, and it just looks cool, the display is a two tone color which makes it look so unique, by the way my girlfriend said told me that it is sexy. So you have to get it, guys, do not wait! Get it and see the compliments you get as I have.
Simply amazing watch, period. the military black finish looks great, the negative display is cool, the backlight is super LED so it's nice and brighter than other g-shock watches, it looks like a watch from a black ops video game, no but very nice size - has a large face but the actual feel of the watch is very light not sure how they did that. Great watch - this is my third one from g-shock. Will purchase more.
Great watch! A little bigger than it looks online but still totally "lady" sized. The color is a bit darker than online, but a really rich, nice orange. I really love it.
This is a big watch. I have small to medium wrists and the watch does not look out of place. It is fairly simple to use but it will require you to read the directions to set and use it properly. It is about as comfortable as you can get with a plastic band. Despite its size, it is not heavy. I find it ideal for training and it is stylish enough to server as a casual replacement for my main watch.
I only had my watch for a month and the white finish on the face of the watch started wearing off. I sent it back to Casio and they said they only cover the insides. I would never buy another Casio again with service like that!
Absolutely love this watch. Looks great on - not too big. Will wear it for a long time!
