These are very nice work boots but a little narrow. I ordered a wide and they fit perfectly. Zappos has the best customer service!

I wear these boots almost every day, and I think they are perfect, casual, everyday boots. Hold up great in slush and rain... my feet stay dry and the boots don't pick up water stains. They are also comfortable enough to wear all day long. After about a week of breaking in, I can wear these all day long in my job where I am up walking and standing for 12+ hours a day. The adjustable top is nice as it allows me to wear these with leggings or skinny jeans. Bootleg jeans fit in the boots, but are a little bit uncomfortable around the ankle which is tight. I don't usually shell out this much for shoes, but this pair I think are going to last long enough to be worth it! Great everyday boots.

Beautiful boots! I love these and i got so many compliments. They fit well, just a little snug in the toes but that is because they are kinda pointed.

This was the 3rd time I ordered these boots, the previous 2 times the boots had a defect where the metal eye lids that the bootlace goes through was not crimped properly and that would cause the laces to get snagged and tear. I emailed Zappos after ordering from them and ask them to check the boots for damage prior to shipping them, and I received an email about 10 minutes after I sent my email out. The lady who emailed me said that she would definitely have them checked for defect. Then the boots were shipped the same day I ordered them. I received the boots in under a week and they were perfect and they were the correct size...from here on out, all footwear I buy will be from zappos.com.

Great boot built with quality, soft leather. The size runs large. I wear a 10 to 10.5, but needed a size 9 with these. Looked forward to wearing these for a long time as construction is excellent as well.

This shoe had everything I was looking for. The tread is great, it really is like a work boot on the bottom. Look is dressy enough, and still on the outdoorsy side. I was originally looking for a smooth brown leather, but I'm liking the rougher leather a lot. I'm hoping they can take some rain, but it hasn't rained since I got them. I've been walking 1 hr a day on sidewalks/pavement to work for about 3 weeks now, I haven't felt any foot fatigue. The are nice and low around my outer ankle bones, but I had a little problem with the backs digging into my Achilles tendon at first, but that has stopped. I wear wool socks (on the thinner side) to make sure it doesn't happen again. Very happy so far.

I got the 9.5 W. The product description says the boot circumference is 16", it was too tight to zip up.

Really nice, light-weight walking around boots for weekend wear. Perfect for strolling the local flea markets and walking the dogs.

Got these for my husband and he loves them. Wears them all the time for work and going out -- says they are really comfortable.

Nice shoe, I'm usually 11-11.5 wide. I got 11.5 wide, wish I got 11. I would suggest going towards smaller side of your size.

Had a very good experience with Zappos. I ordered two pairs of this shoe and kept 14 W. Very pleased with promptness of delivery and easy return. We are having a no-snow winter and these waterproof boots are perfect.

I live in Colorado and wanted stylish, functional black boots. These fit the bill completely. They are nice enough to wear with a dress or look great with jeans/leggings tucked in. I have large muscular calves and the fact that these have a zipper and the laces means I can adjust them perfectly and they fit with a variety of pants not just skinny-leg. They are comfortable, durable and have enough traction to navigate the ice when we get snow. I did read reviews and ordered up 1/2 size from 8.5 to 9 and the fit is perfect. Totally recommend this boot!

Comfortable, true to size fit. I wore them all day the first time without any sore spots. Just the right mix of comfortable and casual!

Be aware these boots have a very slender calf area. Could hardly zip them up and when I did, it felt like my blood circulation was being cut off.

Sturdy, non fussy, waterproof shoes that'll make you walk faster and more confident through the streets or through the woods. I'm an 8-8.5 length wise but I normally wear a size 9 because I have wider feet. One caveat is 9s leave too much space between my toes and the tip of the shoe and I look like I have big feet for a girl my size. I bought the 8.5 in Wide thinking it might be too big but they fit me well with a good wiggle room at the toes. It's waterproof so you can't open up the tongue all the way (and people complain about not being able to get their feet in, but I was able to get mine in just fine, with my very wide feet), and I imagine that it'll become easier with wear. Overall, a great buy for this pricey boot. Comfortable and cozy for the winter! Note, I live in snowy Chicago and will use these to trudge through the snow.

I require after market arch supports in all my shoes, so I looked for a boat shoe that had a substantial sole, one that was not too flexible (rubbery) so that a good arch support would work. I also wanted a good looking, informal shoe that was well made and comfortable. I am really pleased with these shoes and wear them nearly every day. They're well designed, really well made, and look good.

I love these boots! Very comfortable. Most boots are too large in the calf area for me - these are slender and look great - not sloppy! Sporty boot looks great with jeans/casual pants!

I just got this boots and tried them on and already love them! They are everything I was looking for; comfortable but with style. I am 5’7” and have skinny calves and these boots are perfect! I got the brown ones and the color brown is much darker than it looks like on the pictures (which totally okay with me), but thought you should know it is not a light brown at all.

These shoes are well worth the price. I'm normally a size 13 but this shoe in size 12 fit just fine. A great mix of style, comfort and durability.

I love the style and look of this shoe and it is very well made the wide all so fits my very wide foot (I have to wear a ww at times). The rubber on the soul and heal make it very stable, no slipping. My only complaint is at the heel they have their name and logo stamped in to the leather and it is bothering my heal, not sure if it bothers me enough to send them back or not. The dove grey color is very neutral and can be warn with anything. (It all most appears to be a khaki color in some lights so can even be worn with brown).
