These shoes are great! I have a few friends who have innov-8s and they recommended them. I will be sure to do the same. They are my first pair of lifting shoes and have noticed a huge different with the support they provide.

Received the shoes on time after making the purchase. I have been doing the Squat Everyday WorkOut for the past twenty 22 days. I thought I reached my best PR until I put these bad boys on at the gym yesterday and today. Best my PR by 10 lbs and went so deep on the squat that my butt almost touched the floor. I felt more stable and the grip was much better than my past shoes. Granted these are my first weighting shoes but I am already impressed with the results. It is a bit longer in the toe area but fits my wide feet pretty well. They are stiff at the soles and makes noises when doing walking lunges. The green is greener than I would like but that isn't the shoes' fault. Hoping they last a few months because they are pricey for me but they are cheaper than any other sites based on my research.

Very stylish shoes that grip nicely on the trails. Unfortunately, I had to return them after one wearing. If you have flat feet or wide feet, they will not work for you. I do like the brand and am trying out other models in the Innov-8 line.

My husband loves these. They have been great for living in Hawaii. We go on muddy hikes often. They have great grip on slippery river rocks and rainy muddy trails. He also uses them for swimming in the ocean since there are lots of rocky areas and very sharp or slippery coral.

I almost always wear Vivibarefoot shoes. I love them but the insoles fall apart much sooner than the shoe itself. The company does not sell replacement insoles, at least not in the USA. None of the insoles found at the drug stores or shoe repair stores offer a 3mm thickness and without some arch support. I thought I would give the Invo-8's a try. I had to trim it down just a bit in the length due to my small shoe size but it works perfect. Fits great and can't even tell t is not the original that came with the shoes. Sure glad to have found an alternative at a very reasonable price.

This is the worst Inov-8 shoe I've ever purchased. First, the insoles slip up the heal easily (meaning I had to duct tape them in); 2 the actual sole wears away so quickly - I've been rotating through them (I work out in two other shoes at intervals) and even after four months the grip on the bottom of the shoe is almost entirely gone. Too, the sole has pulled away from the toe...just not durable AT ALL. Plus the outer is now this weird cushioned kind of materials so you feel like you're walking around with pillows on top of your foot rather than a sturdy shoe. And lastly nitpicky though it may seem, the laces come undone easily - they're coated with a weird kind of coating. The only pros are what you'd generally expect from Inov-light weight, basically. I used to love this brand but they've gone way downhill. These shoes in particular? Maybe the kind of performance I'd expect from a 50 or 60 dollar shoe, but at this price they were just a rip off. I feel like my devotion to the brand was just taken advantage of.

I too wanted to love these, but they were so much smaller and narrower than expected. I could barely get my foot in this shoe sadly.

Unfortunately this shoe was not for me. I actually found them to fit slightly snug even though I ordered to my normal size. The shoe itself is comfortable, but does not offer arch support. Even after adding athletic inserts I didn't feel they would protect my arches long term. I am 6'0, 200lb's and fairly athletic. These shoes were just not made for me.

These work great as a replacement for Nike Free 3.0 insoles. No gapping along the sides. Purchased the US Mens 11 for a Nike men's size 10.5 and trimmed a bit to fit.

I've become a big fan of the shoe. I use these for workouts, training, and short runs (3miles or less), not so for casual everyday wear arounds. There is a zero mm differential, so if you're not used to that, it may take some getting used to. There is not a ton of cushioning, which is why longer runs may be an issue, but for sprint work and lifting, they are great. I am able to get a good feel of the ground and push through when lifting. The grip is super underneath. My feet do not slide around inside of them even though there is enough room for my toes to splay out, and I feel very stable. And in my opinion, they look better in person than in the pictures.

I was concerned about the fit due to a lot of the other reviews on this shoe. I went to Inov-8's site measured according to their directions and ended up with a 9.5 which is what I normally wear. Fit is great, nice wide toe box lets toes naturally splay. No compressibility in the sole as far as I can tell, but still comfortable to walk in. Should be good lifting shoes. Time will tell.

Lightweight but supportive. Plenty of room for unrestricted ankle mobility. Very comfortable footbed. I have flat, narrow feet and feel that these fit well. I would imagine it may not be enough arch support for some.

I had been using Converse when doing squats and noticed my heels coming off the ground. My bar path was nice and straight with these shoes. Coming up was easier and I could feel the movement in my glutes more. I don't know why I didn't get these sooner! They are very cute. I ordered a half size up after reading the other reviews and they fit perfectly. I wear an 8 1/2 and got a 9. Perfect fit. Great shoes!

These are awesome shoes. I am a trail runner, and run on surfaces from dirt roads to rocky alpine to muddy grassy muck, and I really like these on all surfaces. Hard surfaces less though, since the lugs are quite large. Despite being light and minimal, the shoes are very supportive due to the construction and how the upper wraps the foot securely, and maintain a light and nimble feel. Unlike most shoes, after a run, I often don't remember to remove the shoes, whereas with most shoes I can't wait to get them off after a hard run. Highly recommended.

In love with these shoes! I'm always a 7.5 and had to return them for an 8 which now fits perfectly. Zappos was really great about getting my return and order done and reimbursed in a timely manner! Took about a week and a half. Arch isn't too supportive which is great for cross training (weightlifting and running) since they're more minimalist based. Definitely recommend this company and these shoes to anyone!

I ordered these for the color and it's shocking pink! Great! However, these shoes have very little flexibility. They would be great for weight lifting, but not much cushion for running. Per other comments, I ordered 1/2 size up and this fit correctly.

I bought these as a lightweight non-waterproof three season trail hiker. I used them on a 19 mile hike up and down Marcy and Skylight in July (75° at base, 55° at summit). They are the lightest weight shoes that I have worn on the trail and my legs were thanking me at the end of the day. The upper mesh on these shoes is very light, breath better, and dry fast (feels much lighter than the Mudclaw or Roclite). The toe box is Inov-8's standard fit, which is quite roomy even for my wider feet and is much more comfortable (for my wider feet) compared to Mudclaw. The wider toe box paid off on my trail descent a lot by allowing forefoot strikes to splay out. They performed well in bogs, mud, and fully immersed in water (wearing technical REI socks). They retained water for about 10 minutes but were comfortable and no longer waterlogged within 20-30 minutes of hiking. The tread is sticky enough for bare rock scrambling and descent on wet rocks in the Adirondacks. When trying these on, the treads felt less sticky than the Mudclaws but much more sticky than the Trailrocs. The shoes have little cushioning and a relatively low rise but I have high arches, decent ankle strength, and I found these worked very well on my hike (fair amount of rock scrambling). They run small and while I normally take a 10° in all other shoes, the 11 fit me best in these shoes.

Inov8 makes a great looking shoe and I loved the low profile, however, I was disappointed with how pointed the front of the shoe was. The width was fine but because of how pointed the end of the shoe is it made the end of my last 3 toes feel scrunched. For comparison...I am comfortable in a 12.5 Kinvara 4, but even with a size 13 with Inov8 235s, I had my last 3 toes scrunched up.

I ordered a Wide width but Zappos sent a M or D width, but stated the toe box is wider than normal, so treat it as a wide. Not true. The toe box was not as wide as a normal shoe with W designation.

I really wanted to like these sneakers. I've had a few other inov8 in the past and I loved them so I was really excited to get these. BUT, the first pair that came I sent back because the stitching near the top of the lace holes were torn- it looked horrible. I returned them and received a new pair- This time the stitching was slightly better- but there was glue everywhere ON THE SNEAKER. The glue that holds the sole and the shoe itself together clearly visible around the shoe (between the material and the sole). I tried to scrape it off, but it was too strong. For the price of the sneakers, I'm highly disappointed in the quality. Not sure I will buy inov8's anymore after this experience!
