Bulova was founded in 1897 by Joseph Bulova, an immigrant from Bohemia, when he opened a small jewelry store on Maiden Lane in New York City. The small and modest store was to evolve into one of today’s most excellent watch and clock companies. In 1911 Bulova began manufacturing desk clocks and pocket watches. During World War I wristwatches were issued to the military for their greater convenience. Returning veterans brought back the new fashion and in 1919, Bulova introduced the first full line of men’s jeweled wristwatches. It was followed by the industry’s first full line of ladies’ wristwatches and the first line of diamond wristwatches.
Bulova has produced timepieces for the military in World War II, assisted in channeling its technology into making computers for the NASA space program in the 1960s, kept official time aboard Air Force One, and have repeatedly been awarded to visiting dignitaries as Presidential Gifts of State. In recent years, Bulova watches have presented a number of design innovations. Love this watch! I looked locally at stores and everything seemed too small or way too big. This is a good size, not a tiny grandmother watch and not a huge teenage watch.

I am beyond picky but I can honestly say I love this watch & I love the Zappos customer service! I actually exchanged a different watch for this one and I couldn't be happier with the change. It's exactly like the photo and Bulova is a great brand, it will easily last me a lifetime.
This was an gorgeous watch at a good price.I received very quickly. Zappos customer service has to be one of the best. My daughter Michelle Hawkins buys a lot from Zappos. She loves them!
Really loved this watch but needed a white or pearl face and unlike the photo, it has a gold tone face, so back it goes.
This watch is exactly what I was looking for and it arrived meeting all my expectations. It's attractive, functional and keeps excellent time. With a Bulova movement I expect to enjoy it for years to come.

Beautiful! Bought it for my boyfriend. He wears it with everything...looks great casual and dressed up.
This is the most accurate watch that I have ever owned. The dial is exactly what I wanted. Would be perfect if the dial was slightly smaller. Will need to have a jeweler remove links to fit your exact wrist size.

I love this watch. I love pretty much all watches, but I really love this one. I like the continuous sweeping hand. The band is comfortable. And the glass on the front is really hardcore and thick.

I do not like a clunky watch on my wrist, so this fits the bill. It is slim, lightweight and classy looking. I was looking for a watch with a dark brown band and a classic look, and this was perfect.
Zappos came through again. I ordered and in three days it was here. The watch is so beautiful, the crystal shine brilliantly. The picture is not as pretty as the real thing. It came in a very nice box. Always check Zappos first! I give Zappos and the merchandise seven stars!

The watch is nice, but the gold looks more like copper to me, but James says it's nice and he likes it.
I got this watch and I really like it, it looks really nice with a shirt. The only thing that am not so crazy about was that it does not have the Date, but other than that I cannot complain.
Great watch. Great price. Love this watch. You can see the mechanics through the hearts on the front and the back .very nice piece. And Zappos ships very fast. I shop here often for shoes. Finding this watch here was such a bonus.
Loved it! It is beautiful and my boyfriend is very happy with it. It is a very classic watch that can be dressed up or down. It is a little on the heavy side.
I purchased this for my 60-something mother to replace a very similar two-toned, circle-faced watch that my oldest son beat against a table. It's a nice looking watch that will last as long as my sons stay away from it. (Also, I will admit to a small freak out about a dead battery upon receiving it, only to realize that the little knob was (intentionally) pulled out to keep the battery from dying. This wasn't something I knew about since the watches I've bought have been from brick and mortar stores and the time was always set for me. Live and learn!) I should also add that this seemed to be decently priced and worth every penny. I bought another Bulova watch for my husband (and spent about money on it) and he has some styling issues with the band. This watch has an easy clasp so you shouldn't have any problems with it catching on anything.
I absolutely love this watch! I wanted a dressy, smart watch that I could wear all of the time, shower in, not have to worry about taking it on/off, etc. I love the styling, and it looks just as amazing with jeans and a nice shirt as it does alongside a dressy outfit. I have enjoyed my watch immensely! Thanks for the speedy service, Zappos!

I've had this watch for nearly two years now and I still love it. I wear it every day and it goes with just about any outfit. It's elegant enough to wear with dressy clothes and casual enough to look good with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans.
