Stacy Adams Reviews
While I like the style of these shoes, they seem to run very large. I have narrow feet and have worn size 14-15 for years. I returned a size 14 I ordered in exchange for a 13. Which is still flopping around on my feet with copious space around my (admittedly skinny) ankles. I will try my luck with a 12.
These shoes are really comfortable but they do not seem very well made. The back of the sole on one of mine already started to separate. I fixed it with a nice amount of super glue. I am pretty happy with them, but I doubt they will last very long. They also make squeaking sounds here and there and that is from walking on a smooth surface, does it on grass. I love the style and comfort of these types of shoes, but I will definitely be looking at a different brand in the future.
This tie is listed as "Royal (blue) and White". While that is not entirely inaccurate, the tie would be better described as Royal and Black, as the black part of the detail is more drastic than the white. It is much darker than the picture would have you believe. Very nice tie for the money, just not really the right color.
I am definitely pleased with this shoe. It is good value for the price. I usually get Johnston & Murphys, but at this price, this shoe is comfortable and in a good style I like, i.e. normal. As in another review, one shoe did dig in above my heel just a little when I first started wearing it, but didn't actually blister me. The sole under the balls of the feet are a bit thin/non-cushy, so I am thinking of getting an insert. I am very pleased overall, though.
I never write reviews. I also don't remember ever regretting buying a pair of shoes...until now. Perhaps Stacy Adams made good shoes years ago, but not anymore. To get this kind of quality elsewhere, you'd have to spend a lot less (and that would be at full retail). Pros: Style, they look very nice in the online picture. Cons: Squeakiness? The least of your worries. As others have mentioned, a little lotion (I used Pecard) and the squeaks go away. While they look great online, they look marginally good in the box and have a strange, shiny, plastic-like appearance. As soon as you hold one in your hand you realize that they are made of the thinnest, cheapest quality leather imaginable. If you so much as try them on, the vamp instantly develops deep creases that will never go away. But, I told myself, they're the style I'm looking for and they've gotten such good reviews. By day 2, small chunks of leather attaching the heel to the sole cracked and fell out, and the crack began to spread. Now, less than one month later (and only wearing them 2-3 times/week), both heels are starting to separate from the sole, and the upper is beginning to separate from the welt on the left boot. The groaning and creaking I now hear is not due to rubbing - it's the boots falling apart. I expect to get no more than another two months out of them before they go in the trash. I am astonished by the fact that so many people are happy with these boots. They are not quality shoes...period. I've had a pair of Aldens for several years and they keep getting better with age. To replace the Madisons, I purchased a pair of Allen Edmonds Fifth Street boots (from Zappos, of course) and am very happy. They cost a little more, but are of infinitely better quality, both in materials and workmanship. They will last for years and can be sent back to the factory for reconditioning and new soles once they need them, extending their life span even longer. Shoes like Alden or Allen Edmonds (both made in the US) are a good investment. Stacy Adams (made in India) are a complete waste of money and I truly regret buying them. Please, do yourself a favor and look at something else. If this is the style you're looking for, check out the aforementioned Fifth Street boots. The price may sting a little at first, but you'll be getting a high quality pair of boots you won't later regret buying. Whatever you do, stay away from these boots. Others have said the same, I should have listened.
As warned by a prior reviewer , these shoes have a strong acetone/turpentine like odor to them that can be nauseating, especially in a car ride. It lessens with time, but remains nevertheless. People around me could actually pick up on it. It's a shame too, because great looking comfortable shoes otherwise .

Fantastic shirt for the price. Fit perfectly for a big and tall size! I'll be purchasing at least one of almost every color!

Excellent shirt for the big and tall gentleman. Stacy Adams is the only shirt that I use at work.
Felt fine when I tried them on at delivery, but when I actually wore them, they were awful. Too tight. Cut into my heel. Just painful. But too late to return.
These are the coolest shoes I have ever owned. Comfy too...Zappos is a great firm to do business with. Your customer service is the best. Three cheers for Zappos.
I absolutely love these boots. They are my primary footwear, summer, winter, and in-between. Great fit and durability. Good looks in a suit, slacks, or jeans. Very comfortable, and they breath quite well. I wear them with wool socks for warmth in the winter, and switch to cotton socks in warmer weather. Either way, these boots feel good, look good, and have a respectable lifespan. On my scale of 1-10, they are a 12.
Very attractive shoe. In a world where dress shoes seem to get longer and longer. This Stacy Adams shoe seems to be the perfect length and width. I normally shop for a size 10 (10's were sold out) so I went with a 9.5 and think that with a little stretching that these shoes will be amazing.
This shoe makes you look like you have 3 sizes bigger. The shoe isn't very comfy at first, but after it's broken in, it's not too bad. They seem to be made fairly well. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone unless they have abnormally small feet. I just purchased a pair of Rockport Black Lace-ups and they are 10x the shoe these are.
Great product for the price and look nice; very comfortable; like that the top 3 spots to lace your shoes are hooks, not eyelets. I am going to order a pair in brown too...
I purchased the black suede version. I use to wear b-boots but can't find them anymore. These cost a bit more however. As for styles goes, looks pretty good but the leather part of the shoes kills it. Fortunate that area is covered by your pants. The color of the stitching matches the suede material. I prefer the contrast of the white stitching on the black suede. Other than that this shoes is very nice looking and the quality is up to par. I may get the brown suede version too.

This shirt is paper thin. I don't know how anyone could possibly wear this shirt. Frankly, I think Zappos should not be selling a product of such low quality.
These are great looking boots! They are subtle yet not! They are perfect on style. They run very large and narrow (I wear an 8½, but got a 7 in these boots, and I fit into the 6½). The sizing is similar to Kenneth Cole. I am curious if anyone else finds there is much stretch to these, because I am wondering if I should go back to the smaller size, which was snug but easier to walk in. Any tips for how tightly boots should initially fit? I could not fit wool socks under the 6½, but cannot wear thin socks with the 7 or they feel floppy.

Nice shirt and very nice price! It is hard to find french cuff shirts for my husband at reasonable prices, especially one as nice as this!
I bought this shirt to replace one of a inferior fabric and brand. I love Stacy Adams clothes and shoes. The shirts last and hold up well.
