Have had these boots for about 6months or so. Recently the heels have "puffed up" as in full of air, so each time I take a step there is a whooshing sound and my heel rubs against the sole in a really bad way. Also the sole pads have always slid around under my foot which is also very uncomfortable. Besides those two problems the boots are very comfortable.
I love those boots, true to size and extremely comfortable. There was pretty much no break in period and they look very neutral. There is room for arch supports if you need them, I personally wear barefoot style running shoes and don't use them, but they would definitely fit. Great buy.
All my expectations were met in this boot. Being suede instead of the usual leather, there was no break-in period. It was true to size while still large enough to slip in a custom arch support and cushion, which I think is expected. They came, I put the custom cushioning in, put them on, and went, and they haven't come off my feet since. Truly a pair of shoes that makes you feel like you can go anywhere and do anything. While they might not be 100% waterproof, I have to say I highly prefer the comfort of a suede walking boot.
I have purchased Cougar boots in past but this pair are more like mens size 9 rather than womans 9. There is not much arch support as well.
I love these boots! They are so classy and stylish and warm and rainproof. FYI: if you are a half size, size up.
Big and clunky and made my size 9.5 foot look like 11.5. Also, too many hooks and stuff. Amazingly, they are rather light for being so clunky. I also am not confident about the "waterproof"-ness of them. The suede looks like it won't hold up for long.
