Romika Reviews
This size 40 fits a 9½ comfortably. I love the height, I have been looking for and buying Romika Mokassas for 11 years, there is nothing more comfortable!
Very comfortable shoe, yet not made well. The stitching was shabby and in several areas, messy glue was substituted for the stitching. I was disappointed because they are incredibly comfortable and fit like a dream. If they were less expensive and didn't need them to last longer than 6 months, I probably would have kept them.
Not as good of quality as I'd expected for the price! Sewing inside was wrong and leather seam outside was uneven which was very visible. Also in most brands I can wear a 10 but the 41 (9-10)was a tad short and the 42 (11)was too large so no luck there. 10.5 would work but they don't offer that size. Great arch support though and not narrow at all.
I really liked these boots to start with but am finding that they are not the quality I would expect for the price. Within a few wears, threads were starting to come loose on the seams and the leather looks cheap. It's too bad because they are quite comfortable and cute. I would buy them again if they were on sale, but not at full price.
Wonderful sole and heel. However the buckle was terrible. It was very difficult to undo it. The holes for the buckle were poorly punched. The strap looked rather flimsy. Sent these back
Just the style of shoe I was looking for. I love the design for the toe box. The only thing about the shoes that is a little annoying is that they scuff really easy. It is like the leather upper is super dry. I use an oil leather sponge from the walking company to clean up any scuffs after wearing them and they are back to looking great
Believe what you read about the comfort of these shoes. I have one pair of Romika clogs that I have worn for 10 years. They look a little worn, but still the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. It as though you are wearing a glove on your foot, that's how well they conform to the foot. I always have happy feet when I am wearing my Romika clogs.
I love these boots. Unfortunately the left boot heel has worn out and the plastic is showing through after only 3 days wear. I do plan to order this boot again and hope this was just a defective pair.
Soft leather, good support, easy on/off and the adjustable buckles are icing on the cake. Very pleased and these will be perfect for travel. I normally wear a size 9, and the 40 is just right. My feet are slightly wide but the leather is soft enough to accommodate.
I've been wearing these boots for about three weeks, and they are extremely comfortable. There is no need to break them in. They seem very well made. The best feature for me, is the ability to customize the fit through the laces. The boots zip open as well, so once you have the laces customized, they go on and off easily through use of the zipper. My skinny legs and very skinny ankles do not float around in these, although it helps to wear thicker socks. As someone who usually wears an 8 or 8.5, my choices were an 8 or an 8.5/9. I went with the larger of the two, and it is a little too long in the toe. However, I prefer the option of wearing thicker socks and having more room for my toes. I may order the smaller size in the future to wear with thinner socks, as I like these boots so much.
Comfortable shoe. I have a narrow foot and the adjustable strap helped tighten the fit. Great room for toes.
I was looking for a comfortable shoe to wear to work (I'm a teacher and on my feet most of the time). This shoe would have been comfortable except for a "bump" in the arch area that didn't conform to the shape of my foot. Maybe this is the arch support? (I'm a size 9, average width.) Also, I thought they'd be more stylish; I was expecting kind of a funky, chunky clog-like look, but these look like comfort shoes, if you know what I mean. Sent 'em back.
Love these boots. Exactly what I was looking for. Fit like a glove. Please keep stocking cool items like this.
I was excited to get these on the porch. They are really cute and stylish. I need to try a size smaller. The heel seems roomy and a size smaller may not work. There was plenty of room for my orthotics. Thanks Zappos for your great service.
Great lightweight boot, very comfortable. I really like the styling of these boots (not bulky, a really minimal heel, and buckles that added "something extra" while keeping the style more feminine and light than a biker boot. The buckles are adjustable on both the upper foot and the ankle which is great if you need a little extra room to tuck in your jeans. Overall, these boots were a great purchase (Zappos quickly processed and the order was received within a couple of days).
I got these shoes just before going to Europe and although I brought three different pairs of shoes with me, these were the ones that I wore the most. They are so comfortable and held up walking eight hours a day. I added a little extra cushion support inside which was perfect. I will definitely buy more from this brand!
Unbelievably attractive and comfortable! From the first time able to wear comfortably for hours. Great arch support which is nice for me because I have high arches. Highly recommend.
One of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn. Great style, soft, instantly felt good. Romika now on my favorites list!
My usual shoe size in most brands runs between a 7.5 - 8US. I ordered these in the 39 and they barely fit. They weren't horribly uncomfortable, but I would have preferred to have a bit more room in the toe box. Width seemed true to a medium width shoe, and they look very much like the photos. I ended up returning these because I just didn't like the end of the shoe being so close to my toes. Perhaps a half size up would resolve the issue. I would say they are a very average looking low style boot. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing to get overly excited about either.
The more I wear these, the more I like them. I am a size 9.5-10 and the 41 is a good fit, but they do run a bit long. The shoes are incredibly lightweight, so the name city light is appropriate. I tried these on side-by-side next to a similar pair of Clarks which were much cheaper, and the Clarks felt much heavier on my feet. These shoes have a lot of structure for being so lightweight. I like how the leather detail looks. At first I thought these looked really boring but these shoes have grown on me. They're great for walking around NYC and for work, which is why I bought them. The shoes have a shallow footbed in the back, similar to other European-made comfort shoes I've worn. The back of the foot seems to sit a bit higher than the front as a result. Arch support is good. I'm glad I got these shoes. They're my winter everyday work shoes and they are a real workhorse. Not a pair to buy for style and buy them for comfort. But as far as the style goes, it's not actually that bad!
