Very cute, slimming dress. This dress is very outside of my comfort zone, but I really like it. I had to get an 8, which is one size larger then my typical dress size (I'm 5'4", 130lbs and typically wear a 6, sometimes a 4 in dresses). The 6 was very tight and I didn't feel comfortable. The 8 wasn't much bigger at all, just enough to make me feel better wearing such a form fitting dress.
This dress is so slimming and flattering! I am between 8-10 and size 8 fit me perfect. I ordered both sizes but didn't notice any real difference between them.

Classic chic, lightweight sweater dress perfect for dressing up or down. Looking forward to styling for years to come!
The dress is so much cuter in person and when you try it on. I saw it at a major department store, tried it on and feel in love. Found at Zappos for much less.
Nice trim fit. Very elegant yet casual. Colors very accurate to the picture. Great price. Size are very loyal, meaning M felt and looks like M.
This dress is gorgeous, very flattering. However, it does not run true to size. I am usually a size 8-10 ordered an 8, then a 6 and all were way too big.
Just received it today, what a pretty dress! The fabric is light and flow-y, the color-blocking is designed perfectly. Sadly I had to return it since it's both too long and too wide for me. Really hope it comes in petite sizes!
Love the dress. I usually wear a size six but had to get a size 8. Love it. It fits perfect and kinda hard to get it off though because it has no zipper. Overall I would recommend it.
Originally ordered a size 4 (depending on brand, I can either wear a 4 or 6 or small or med) but had to exchange it for a 6. Nice fit. I wore it with leggings but depending on where you are going, you could just wear it with tights. I really like this and received many compliments.
This was my first purchase from French Connection and I was very pleased. I was unsure of what size to order, but the review from anonymous was very helpful. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 but I went up to an 8 and it was perfect. Love it!

My babe loves the dress and commented that it fit well on her. Furthermore, her daughter really liked my choice in style. :)
If you are looking for a basic black tea length dress, this is it. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 but ordered an 8 and 10 based on other review. Both fit 5'9 at 130 lbs. However, since I (not to sound morbid) wanted this to also work as a funeral dress, I kept the 10 as the 8 had more of a hey-look-at-me factor. I added a black and red burn-out scarf to to break the long n black. I love it.
To help those of you considering this for work. No. They've stretched it down as far as it can go on the model. It will stay there for 2-3 seconds before it starts climbing. The hem crept up to my mid-upper thigh as soon as I started moving. It may be able to function as a tunic over leggings and not the look in the photo at all. To give perspective, I am 105, 5'6 (purchased this in size 2, fit otherwise was great). The hem is 8 inches above my knee. That's a little too close to the family jewels to be work appropriate. I marked it down on style because it doesn't function as a dress. The material is akin to autumn-weight cotton.
The style of the dress is very flattering and very alluring. Definitely recommend it.
I'm 5'0, 32-25-33, 98lbs. I bought this fcuk spotlight dress in tealicious, size 2. It's snug as in it hugs your body comfortably and enhances your assets. The material is of high quality grade and the color is as pictured; a chalky teal rather than a bright teal. As recommended, size up ladies. I'm usually a 0 but the 2 fits perfect. Also, if you're like me and not blessed with healthier bosoms, the dress had a small fold in the fabric in the back just above the center band when I put it on with a non-padded bra. However, once you get some help with a push-up bra, the fold smooths out nicely. It is easy to put on but a slight contortion act to remove it! You sort of have to worm it off when you get to the shoulder region. :-)
