Hey, I just received a pair of these from Zappos and decided not to wait for the review invitation. I have to tell you, these boots are awesome. At first I thought they were too big, but with a pair of "heavy boot socks" or wearing a double pair of standard crews for layering, they felt custom made (10 D). They grip the asphalt for a very confident foot plant. Nothing wrong with Harley brand boots, but these just feel really, really good. So I hear they're made elsewhere now, but I have to tell you, I've worn Red Wings for years, and I can't tell any difference. They're comfortable right out of the box. Excellent value for the money.

TBH, I do not have a motorcycle. I was looking for a black boot that looked good. I was disappointed in the dull flat-black color of the leather. The boot style is bulky and formless over the top of your foot. Red Wing boots are well-known and many riders may disagree. But for me, it was just not what I was looking for.

Nice boots, very cute but big. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 but had to return an 8 for a 7.5 which were still big. A second innersole made them fit perfect. This seems to be common with women\'s motorcycle boots. The sizes are almost like men\'s.

Either my ankles are small or the boot requires a pretty perfect fit to be snug. I usually wear a 9.5, but I think I should have gotten a 9. Anyways, if you have nice think ankles, then the ankle protection motorcycling needs here may be right for you. I need to return them, however.

Great boot, stylish for a work boot and comfortable. They run very narrow, however. I had to get a wide width and I have a narrow foot! I agree the zipper is only for style. You have to untie them. Zappos is great. I end up returning a lot of things to get the size right, but I love the selection and convenience.

Bought these boots for my fiancee, to use during our bikefests. She found them to be true to size, and sturdy protection right out of the box. I hope they are durable, because they were not inexpensive. They are very "Biker", so that is a great start with us.

These boots are great. I don't need full sleeve tats to coordinate with them. They support my ankles well. They come in wide.

These boots are the best purchase I have ever made. I bought them for riding my motorcycle and it was like they were broken in from the first day. I don't think I'll ever buy anything other than Red Wings. And Zappos is the best place to buy anything. Their customer service is fantastic.

The longest lasting boot I have ever owned!!!I work a very rugged job! I burn through a pair of boots every three to four months, but since I found this specific pair - they have lasted me 3 years and 9 months. They now need to be replaced. If you break the price down over that amount of time, it equates to about $3.55 per month at the current asking price of $160.00. THAT IS THE BEST DEAL UNDER THE SUN!!!! Given when I purchased the boot they were $99.00 that makes the monthly price I paid $2.20 per month for the life of the boot. You must try them - they take 5 to 7 days to break in, but once they do it's like putting on your favorite pair of socks. ENJOY!!

It's simple. If you're looking for a motorcycle boot that combines superior quality, durability, and a lace/zipper style that guarantees an effortless entry and exit through a variety of ways to secure the most comfortable fit possible--regardless of the socks you wear or the condition of your feet--these are the boots to get! Like I said, it's that simple. Plus... you're an inch-and-a-half taller... without surgery! Combine that with Zappos elite service and how can you lose? What else can I say?

A really nice boot - I was pleasantly surprised with these boots, they are very nice looking, comfortable, durable but I can still wear them just with jeans instead of my leathers. I checked prices locally and Zappos was competitive, faster delivery, etc. These boots will hold up for a long time.

Although I do not own a motorcycle, I wanted a pair of work boots with a sense of style, and these are a good answer. The leather is soft and immediately comfortable while the sole is sturdy and provides excellent support. My foot is long and narrow, and these boots fit surprisingly well. My heel is a bit too narrow for the space inside the boot, so I need to wear a thick sock and find some form of additional padding. The zipper is a design feature only, but a very good one. The boots have to be untied to put them on and off. The name plates on the heels are like jewelry.

Best boots ever!I love these boots. I ride a bike and these boots really hold up. They feel a bit snug at first, but break in nicely. I had a pair of Harley brand boots that fell apart before six months. I've had the RW's about 3 years and they are still gong strong! I ordered these boots again, as a gift for a friend on a Friday night, got them Saturday morning. Zappos is AWESOME!

A bit heavy, the Red Wing 1671 - I wear the Red Wing boot 1670, a pull on. It is light and comfy. The Red Wing 1671, although a smaller boot is twice as heavy and not as comfy. I have to wear a thicker sock to keep my heel from sliding. I should have found the boot in a store to try on before ordering it. It's great for riding, the sole is very thick and stiff, but for walking, a bit heavy and clunky.

red wing boots - I ordered my boots and got them the next day. We ordered some from Leatherup and it took 10 days for them to come in. My boots are very nice and I will be ordering from here again. The Re Wing motorcycle boots are very nice. They are comfortable. I did have to get 1 size smaller than I wear in a western boot.

Love Them! Love Them! Love Them! These boots are great - slipped right on and didn't need anytime at all to break them in. Maybe not something for a long hike, but wearing them all day on the weekend was fine for riding. Also, would look great with a dress honestly! I dig them!!!

Quality boot - The 968s are a very good quality boot. I have narrow shins so boots are always an iffy fit with me, but they fit well and there is a slight slip on the heel when I step which is always the case with boots. You can adjust the two straps, but they don't really do much. The boot looks nice, but isn't going to grab any attention. I look forward to riding with them.

Very sturdy for motorcycle - After trying several other boots, I got these because they were the sturdiest I found. Solid for serious riding - no messing around. And after breaking them in, they've also become very comfortable. Wear them all day. Good support, great traction, and protection. And infinitely adjustable w/ laces and zipper.

Love the looks and feel of the boot. However, within 1 1/2 months of owning and wearing them, the zipper started to come out twice!!

I really liked the boot. The sole is a little thick for my motorcycle shifting but I was very pleased with this find, especially since I have a wide foot.

Sturdy boots - These boots are sturdy, good leather, steel toes. The zippers are really convenient for on & off. They make me more confident on my scooter on the highway & around town. I wish they were 1"-2" taller so my pants would overlap them when seated on the scooter. Oh well, they're still great.

MOTORCYCLE BOOTS - These boots are awesome. Feel like I’ve had them ten years the first minute I put them on. They are a little pricey. However they are comfortable with plenty of padding.
