I marked moderate arch support, but I was disappointed. Aetrex has better arch support. I didn't know 'til after I wore the boots for an hour or two of walking that the arch support wasn't that good. I was disappointed in that and would have returned them if I could've gotten my money back.

Bought this shoe for 90 yr old dad. It's a size bigger and also the widest width for his swollen feet. Dad loves this shoe.

I work 12 hour night shift as a nurse. These shoes are lightweight and comfortable. They are not the greatest looking but they serve their purpose for work.

I was wanting a black stylish riding boot, and realized I was going to have to go into the wide calf boot. Because of the way all the boots are made I couldn't buy what I wanted in the high end department stores. I am grateful to those that wrote reveiws. Because of their comments I was able to select the Propet Charlotte boot. I am so pleased with these boots. They are comforable, styish, and I am able to zip them up over my legging jeans. Also, the company was wonderful about mailing them out to me immedially so I could have them for Thanksgiving.

These are very comfortable and warm shoes. It is often difficult for me to find a pair that would not chafe from the very start - these shoes are one of the few exceptions to the rule. Additionally, I wanted a pair that I could slip on and off without bending down and using my hands. I find that I can slip them off but I do need to use my hands to unlatch and then latch back the buckle when putting them on. However, I like these shoes so much that I overlook this minor inconvenience.

I bought these shoes for my 92 year old mom, after she broke her hip and was not able to tie her shoes anymore. I had gone to about four different stores looking for the right ones at the right price. I took a chance and ordered these online. I am happy to report, that they came in a few days, and fit comfortably and perfectly from day one. My mom loves them and they have helped her so much. She is still independent and feels very secure in these shoes. Plus, they were the best price that I found. I highly recommend them!

Although I haven't worn these shoe/boots enough times yet to accurately assess them I will say that I always have difficulty finding shoes to fit my weird feet. I'm very wide in the toes and narrower in the heels. I also have neuropathy and need to keep my toes warm. I've bought Propet's in the past and have had good luck. When buying boots,I usually buy men's sizes to be sure of the width but after reading the reviews, I decided to try the women's 9 1/2 2E. (My actual foot is a very wide women's 9 but I wanted room for a thicker sock.) These shoes had the comfort of being "broken in" the first time I wore them and they look good. I wore them to a reunion with dress slacks and a sweater...all day comfort from head to toe and the arch support was fine while I was walking around, but I was sitting most of the time so I can't be really certain. Satisfied customer here at the tip of Cape Cod.

The width was wonderful. I was really excited about them until I realized that the toe strap was hitting my big toe wrong. (I have an odd shaped foot and shoes are complicated.)

Nice looking oxford, a bit heavier than I usually like, seems like good grip for snow, shoe laces untie a bit but that I can live with, overall I am satisfied especially because of its looks.

The shoes are very comfortable but they run a bit narrow in the sole. The top stretches to accommodate but your foot hangs over the edges. My husband typically wears either a 5E or 6E depending on brand. In this shoe He would need a 6E which was not available so I will need to return them.

This shoe seems very cheaply made. It's my first Propet and I'm not impressed. I am returning it.

I couldn't get this boot on my foot. I tried and tried and tried. I was very sad because it is super cute.

As promised, I am getting back to you. I first wrote on Dec. 10, 2014. Since then I have worn this shoe all day every day. Each day the shoe feels like it is part of my foot, better & better. I have my 3/4 orthotics in them. Because of my diabetes, the bottoms of my feet tend to go numb. In these shoes I just feel comfort - no numbness. I was in another shoe store this weekend (Merrill) & the clerk saw my shoes and commented on what good shoes they are. Just be sure to give them the proper break-in time, your feet warm the leather & they begin to surround your feet with comfort.

I am so sad that I have to return these boots. I have bunions and wide feet and they are so comfortable. However, apparently, when they say wide calves they mean REALLY WIDE CALVES. Normally on boots, there are few pairs that I just can't zip up but with almost all of them; I have to raise my leg in the air while the blood flows to the heart and then zip them up. Usually, boots are a little tight in the calves until I break them in. These just look too dorky. They look slumpy around the ankle so it looks like I have cankles. I was actually able to pull them on without unzipping the zipper. I thought about keeping them. They are not super expensive but certainly not cheap. I just can't bring myself to wear them and walk around like this. Also, I ordered an 8W, like I said before, they fit well and are very comfortable (at least in the toe box). However, they are loose in the heel. I don't know if that might cause a problem when walking long distances (with rubbing). My feet are pretty flat so the arches fit fine, but if you have high arches, this is not the boot for you.

I'm an avid walker in his 70's, and I tried this shoe to see if it would provide comfort and support. It felt strange the first week I used it then great thereafter. I am now on my second pair. I heartily recommend this shoe.

My husband loves these shoes, but unfortunately after 4 months or so, the part of the sole that curves up by the toe detached from the shoe. I felt they should have lasted longer, so I believe they are somewhat defective, but at the same time a great shoe while it lasts.

I highly recommend this shoe if you need a shoe with excellent stability, comfort, and support. They felt great as soon as I put them on. I usually buy Merrells, but I'm not at all disappointed with these.

I have huge, very wide feet, and it's very difficult for me to find any shoes, let alone boots that fit at all. So I'm always looking for footwear that comes in Wide or Extra Wide. Even so, half the time, the items are too narrow for my crazy feet. I usually read reviews and think: Yeah, it may have fit that person's wide foot, but I'm sure their feet can't be as big as mine! But, to my delight, this pair of shoes actually fit and look great! The fake suede upper part is super stretchy and I can even fit a good sock underneath. The boots look really cute on, and don't make my feet look fat thanks to the style. Definitely will buy again in another color! Trust me, if you have wide feet and a hard time finding shoes that will fit you, these will fit if you get the extra wide!

These boots are easy to put on and are very comfortable. I was able to put my orthodics into them. The boots are stylish and keep your legs warm.
