The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.

I just received my boots and I was super excited! Unfortunately, they were a little big. I normally wear a 7.5, so thats what I ordered. My feet are slightly wide, but the boots didn't feel tight on the sides at all. They have great arch support and are very soft. They do appear to be longer than they feel when you have them on, which is a problem since I'm short. I don't think they have a 7 available, otherwise I'd exchange them but it's looking like I have to return them.
These are beautiful, beautiful all-leather boots and it is very hard to return them. But though they are supposed to be wide, they are not really. And they are stiff and if I keep them and break them in, to see if they will loosen up, they will no longer be in fit condition to return.
The fit is not the best but it is a great boot. Comfortable, ave a great look and are perfect for every day wear.
I love these shoes! however, I actually had to return my first pair and get a new size, they were a little snug. order up if you have muscular/largish calves, the neck is uniform width all the way up.
These are not the same quality Justin boots that I was used to. Additionally they run almost a full size small.
These boots are adorable! I bought 3 pairs for me and my daughters. They run a whole size larger than normal maybe a size and a half! I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and took a 7 1/2. This company has the best attitude and genuine care for your happiness, I feel as though I was talking to a family member on the phone. Zappos, I am a customer for life.
These are awesome boots. I love them. The size, 9½, is a bit on the generous side compared with other shoes I have, but the fit is fine. I am looking at the choices below and if there was an option for a quarter size larger I would choose that because they are a bit roomy. But not really a half size too large.
A great workboot. I work for the phone company keep in mind, not offshore drilling or lumberjack, so I don't know how they would stand to the ultimate test. I spend 10 to 14 hours a day in them and feel just as comfortable as my running shoes, honestly. This is my first pair of Justin's but now that I trust the quality and price I would buy again from them, not to mention Zappos pricing just cannot be beat.
These boots are awesome! The leather is very good quality and shines up well. I need arch support, but that's easily solved by putting my orthotics in them.
Zappos is great as always! The boots are very nice but these will have to go back due to a nail in the bottom of the boot not tacked down.
It is really hard to find just a plain pair of leather boots! I have been looking for so long. Most have buckles, zippers, lacing and sometimes all three. These Justins will cover for my rugged life in the country and my sophisticated life visiting Oslo, Norway. And the lovely fragrance of real leather wafted out of their box! They did not even need breaking in. I wore them all day in total comfort. I am in love!
I love these boots! I wear them everywhere, in the barn and to the store! They also wipe clean!
I just received my red Justins L4971 in an 8C and they fit like a glove. Just right even with socks and I have wide feet. No break in time here. They are so cute and Zappos did an awesome job of getting these little Daisy Duke boots to me in time for my birthday. Thanks, Zappos, for excellent service.
Fabulous boots! Perfect red color, true to size. I get compliments every time I wear them.
Very cool - stylish flip flops- perfect heel height for all day. My only complaint is that you feel the stitching along the decorative part so I'm hoping it will get softer and not bother me as much. They run true to size because I am a 10 and normally with flip flops I go down in size but these I needed the 10.

I received these boots just today and I adore them. They are extremely comfortable and fashionable. There is now snow on the ground so I wont get to wear them around anytime soon, sadly. They are lighter than the picture shows but still very beautiful. A must have for any cowgirl.
Love this boot! Just got them today, but they look exactly how I expected. I was told by a shoe saleswoman to get a half size smaller so I did, and they fit perfectly. I have wide feet, but these fit quite well. Snug around the widest part of my foot, but I imagine the shoes will stretch there once they are broke in. Minimal arch support, but I prefer it that way. So far, loving them. I hope they last a long, long time!
I owned for about a month now and I am still very happy with the purchase. These boots did take some additional time to break in but so far they are definitely worth it. They run true to size and width. The toe was slightly wider than I anticipated when ordering (I previously owned engineer style by HD), but just part of the boot.
I reluctantly ordered this boot in my size 8.5. I normally am returning all boots that I order online because I have big calves. So I just don't buy online. However, after reading the reviews of this boot, I ordered them and received them the next day with standard free shipping. I opened the box and put them on. Perfection! I have been looking for the perfect cowboy boot for quite some time that didn't have a heel and was girlie. I live in NJ, I do not live on a farm. I purchased these boots strictly for comfort and fashion. I have to use arch support in my shoes from a podiatrist and these boots have a built in arch which for me is perfect. Not saying that I won't need to wear my insert, but there is an arch in the boot. I just hope my feet keep warm and dry when it snows. I'll let you know! Thanks Justin boots!
