Tried on in a local store and so uncomfortable underneath the ball of the foot: You can feel every bit of the "thong" piece that comes from between your toes. No padding at all here. It's like having a little bite-sized Twizzler under your foot. (Initially, I wasn't even going to try them on, as there is literally no padding anywhere. The fake leather of the sole is literally hard as wood! The store had no carpeting, which was a good thing, or I may not have been able to tell they were that uncomfortable.) The only upside is that they were really cute on.
