Overall:

I will not wear shoes for just looks, they must be comfortable. I have thick calves so I cannot wear conventional boots. I love these boots. They fit nice and give legs a thinning look and look good with skirts or pants, dress or casual! I have only had them one week and only worn them twice, but so far so good and lots of compliments! There is no arch support so my feet are tired after about 6 hours. Not sure why manufacturers still make shoes without arch support.

I have wide calves and I went to so many stores looking for boots that would fit my calves, but I found none. Instead of wasting my time in the stores, I should have just searched online from the beginning! I was so happy to see wide calf boots online! I measured my calf (with jeans) and it came out to be 16". And since this boot says it has a 16.50" circumference, I thought surely that it would fit, but the boots did not fit. The boots were made from good quality material. And sadly I had to return them. But the ordering and returning process was very easy! I read from a different website that if you are petite and/or under 5'3", order a style that is at least one inch larger because your calf is wider at a lower point in the boot than on someone who is taller.

I love these boots, but unfortunately have to return them. I have very muscular calves. I measured, and was at 17" at the widest point, so I thought for sure that the 17" circumference would accommodate them, but no dice. I think these would work amazingly well for a woman with a 16" calf. They really are beautiful and comfortable. I am jealous for the women these beautiful boots will work for! Zappos return policy rocks.

These boots were wonderful, just like Sara P. from Calif. said. My calves are thin and I couldn't find a boot that would fit it; there is a finger gap only when you have it on, but it's not that noticeable looks great with skinny jeans and dresses perfect enough for me. That's so much. I'll be ordering from you online again! This boot is definitely a eye turner for women & for men to see, my friends love them! What's even more perfect is I ordered them on Sunday night & got them shipped to me by Tuesday mid-day before New Year's Eve. You know I'll be rocking in these boots that night, what a wonderful shoe to welcome in the New Year with!

The boot looked impressive coming out of the box. I tried the wide calf, wide foot model. According to the measurements, it should have fit a 16.5 calf.\r\nThe shoe is a true 7W, but I\'ll never know whether the top of the boot would have been wide enough for my 16 inch calf, since I couldn\'t zip it more than half-way. So many designers seem to forget that the whole foot & calf will be wider than a B.

Bouquets Bida (Wide Calf)! These boots were not wide calf. I bought these for my daughter and she couldn't get them zipped. My sister zipped them and they were perfect on her calf and she has average to thin calves. We were very disappointed. Returned.

These have a wide calf because they are stretch fabric. The advertised width is 12.5 inches. Save yourself time and measure your calf. They don't stretch that far.

These shoes are absolutely gorgeous! They feel so comfortable right out of the box; no break-in period required. However, during the very first wearing, the back straps stretched out so badly that I couldn't keep them on my heels, even in the tightest adjustment hole. I don't know what I can do to make them wearable again. What a shame because I really loved the style and comfort!

They are as cute as they look. I\'m sending them back, however, because even though they\'re listed as wide calf, they just aren\'t wide enough for my calf. And after googling for extra-wide boots, I found many that were leather for half the price. It seems like a lot to pay for all man-made materials.

I will have to say that before I received my order I thought I was going to have to send them back, but to my surprise they worked for me. The shoe was a 9.5. I have a shaft of 17 and this boot's shaft is 16.5, but I wanted some boots so badly I just said a prayer and clicked enter. I am so glad I did. There is elastic at the top of the boot, although I am not able to put my jeans in the boot that's not my personal style anyway. I'm sure leggings may work, though. Beautiful detailing and I have received compliments on them. Comfortable. Yet a little clicky as you walk. I'm happy to say I have a pair of boots too now. Thanks Zappos.

I could not find good looking dress boots in my size without going to a 4' skinny heel. (I am a size 11, wide calf.) I saw these online and decided to take a chance. I have not ordered online before. Well it was easy! The best part is the boots are true to size and comfortable! Ordering was simple, and service prompt. Their site is really easy to use and I will again for sure.

This was my first experience shopping online for shoes, so I was a little leery to say the least. The ordering process with Zappos was great and straightforward, no surprises. I received my shoes in the promised window of time and was extremely pleased with the quality and sizing accuracy. My "Ruby Slippers" were the talk of the Party and I received many compliments all evening long. I was also quite pleased with the comfort of the shoes, as I am not a person who wears high heels for extended periods of time, never mind dancing the night away in them! Thanks Zappos. I'm sure to be back for more shopping in the future.

The only thing I found "wrong" with this shoe was that the strap around the heel of the foot kept slipping off. Otherwise, it was a comfortable fit width-wise. Still a sexy shoe.

I was so excited when these boots came in. Unfortunately, they turned out to be another boot that's not exactly wide calf. I measured my calves before and thought these would be perfect even with jeans. No dice. I could barely zip them up. The search continues.

Great looking boot and comfortable. My only disappointment is that the first time I wore this outside, the toe of the boot got scrapped on something and now the synthetic material has flap and looks bad. The quality of material is poor to have that happen right away. I guess I can\'t wear this boot outside anymore and don\'t know what I am going to do about this synthetic material flap hanging on the toe cap. I expected a bit more for the price I paid.

Boot is lovely, but ankle too tight. I wear a size 12M, and am 5'10". The calf on this boot is perfect for my large calves. However, the ankle was too tight when zipped. I can get it zipped up, but it would be very uncomfortable to break them in, and then I'm not sure I would end up with enough 'wiggle' room in my ankle. Foot was perfect width, and they are a pretty pair of boots.

The top of this shoe is very long and cut into the top of my foot. The seams are uneven and the cut marks are visible. These are cheaply made.
